as a forest fan, I'm enjoying this coverage way more than on forest tv. you can really savour every moment of the commentators' disappointment during the shootout. highly enjoyable.

Players couldn't have given any more than what they did last night. Amazing turn around from getting dominated in our last two games against them. We were the better side. Gibbs-White especially was outstanding. Penalty shootouts and going up through the playoffs just isn't for us obviously. Nine playoff defeats and 5 straight penalty shootout defeats it is now I believe. We can look forward to going one better next season. UTB ⚔️🔴
Another Forest fan here. I said elsewhere that if you got the first goal you’d be right back in the match. Well you went two goals behind and still came back! Have to say that was a quality performance. We on the other hand lost the midfield and in the end it was Brice who saved us. Really sorry about Billy Sharp, one of our former players. We’ll see you in the Prem season after next hopefully.
When you made it 3 1 I thought we was done but we showed some grit and could have pinched it in the end... gl in the final you lot deserve it apart from the cunts that attacked players after match.. what the fuck was that all about? Credit to those who donated to Billy's cause that was a nice touch..
RESPECT to Sheffield fans at the back of the goal, no one tried waving or shaking anything to distract Forest players. In the shootouts of "big" matches, dozens of fans do, as always.

Was a good game, had everything and Forest fell apart in the second half. I’m a Forest fan and just don’t think lolley should even be on the bench, bring in a youngster, konate or Taylor or Swan, lolley is just not up to it anymore

Forest were absolutely atrocious. But they could have had 4 or 5 in the last game. Sheff Utd just didn't prepare for penalties. Again. That's on management. Over 2 legs the smarter team won.
The worrying thing for Forest though must be the fact that Sheffield United were significantly the better team over the two legs, despite having so many of their key players missing through injury, and having no recognised strikers.
@@truthtotell7583 that's football though isn't it? Ups and downs. However good you are, you'll always need a bit of luck. And to be prepared for penalty shoot outs. Forest were the much better team at Bramall Lane in March and the better team over the course of the season.
@@jacksonbollock Agreed that luck is a factor, but a game in March has no relevance here. A much depleted Sheffield United squad, apparently devoid of any recognised strikers and missing other key players too, outclassed Notts Forest making them look a very ordinary Championship team and that must worry their fans as they contemplate the possibility of trying to compete in the Premier League.
@@truthtotell7583 not really. Forest played Liverpool and were the better side. Doesn't say much about Liverpool's overall class and likelihood of success. It's just a single game (and really, only the second half of one leg in this case). Any team can be better than any other team on a given day. It's just football. But I can see why Sheff Utd fans are clinging onto playing better as a psychological consolation.
@@jacksonbollock From a neutral perspective the Liverpool team were not at full strength, and the stats show a very different story contradicting your statement, and they won the game anyhow!
