I appreciate your good words. It seems there is a huge dispute over where he is. I simply look at it this way. We all agree he is dead. He is buried somewhere. This is the place that claims him so it's good enough for me. That is a tough walk up there. Glad you got good memories from the video. That's my goal for the viewer.

You are right. My understanding is he first started getting into gunfights hoping to get killed so he did not have to suffer with consumption which killed his mother in her 30's as well. However, he turned out to be too good at drawing and it never happened.

Doc Holiday was confined to the Glenwood springs tuberculosis sanitary when he asked his nurse to uncover his feet he looked at them and said "this is funny" and took his last breath, because it was November when he died there was already several feet of snow covering the cemetery so his casket was laid at the bottom of the slope below it along with those of others who died that winter before spring an avalanche occurred that buried these caskets under many feet of rocks and debris the cemetery could not afford the equipment and labor to retrieve and move them so they were left in place!

3:59 That tree with ribbons is symbolic to a person who lives down below the trail and is a cancer surviver. Its called Annie's Wishing Tree on Facebook. This person always had a thing for that tree since they was younger and started walking the trail after their cancer treatment. It started with her writing wishes on the ribbons and tying them to the tree. This person started volunteering at the Children's hospital and the kids started giving her ribbons with their wishes so she could tie them to the tree.

Got to jump into this, sorry. The old style name of
handle on coffins, for the coffin bearers, is call Huckle. Fo the six coffin Paul bearers. If you know what I mean. All misquoted and mis understood:
the line was I will be your huckle bearer, one who carries the coffin of the dead person.
The movie cliche is not Huckelberry. It is historically Huckle Bearer, for the funeral. And that puts into the right context in the movie scene as a threat of death for the Tombstone fight challenge.

It seems there are numerous conspiracies about his burial. The most simple is usually the truth. He was buried where he died is the simplest. I am not a believer in conspiracies. You see, conspiracies by nature are secret. Yet everyone who believes in a conspiracy seems to know every detail that no one else alive at that time knew. So it is usually hype, innuendo, and a smattering of reality to make it all plausible. It is funny how many care about where he is buried. We can agree he is dead and buried. Colorado is as good a place as any.

Wyatt saw Doc for the last time in Colorado. From Doc's appearance, Wyatt knew Doc didn't have long to live. The end of the movie "Tombstone" is partially true with some fiction added, probably for dramatic purposes. Wyatt was not there the day Doc passed. However, it is true that Doc asked for a shot of whiskey, then looked at his feet and said "this is funny" and died.
