As soon as the Felix whistle started, you could tell some people in the audience recognized it and got excited. Hush Crew has been posting about how thrilled and surprised they were to get to dance with Stray Kids.

Was the audience stunned into motionlessness? I'm 65+, and I would have been clapping, cheering, or singing along, at the very least. Okay, we do finally see a few heads moving to the music. I bet many of the audience members' kids know who Stray Kids are.

@@ShadeTV247 I guess the REAL reason it wasn't announced was cause they knew the fans would come swarming in and pack the small auditorium, and be dancing and cheering wildly, and this would obviously upset the UA-cam creators present at this event. 😬
The audience was like that for other singers' performances. They are not there for the singers. No offense.
I'm 60 also, been following them since pre-debut and I was appalled at that audience. No excuses, bad manners to not even applaud at the end.

That audience was surprisingly... Um.... Calm. I almost thought they were cardboard signs for a brief while. Anyway... Stray Kids did Great!!🎉🎉🎉🎉

And also the fact that we had no clue they were showing up!
They also weren't STAY...maybe a couple, but it wasn't a show for STAY. This was a show for UA-cam creators, marketing people, the press, etc.
There was no notice before the event. Many of them are not skz's fan im a stay. But its understandable.
Korean fans know the songs by heart, so they constantly scream. Perhaps here the audience was increased by viewing and listening.
I mean screaming and being loud aren't exactly a requirement for being the audience there...

I actually appreciate the people who were silent. I felt more concentrated in hearing their voices and see their dance movements better. (silence does not equal always boredness, but awwn appreciation for their art)🥺❤❤

Disagree. Ever performed on a stage? It's not what we want. We want to move our audiences and engage with them, otherwise we may as well sing into our hairbrushes in the bathroom.

@@ShadyPastel Yup, many times (I’m a dancer), and let me tell ya. The fact that people enjoy screaming their heads off and sing to chants at a concert (like always) to express their content, Others like to enjoy it via being a bit more silent, why you may ask? Easy, they want to concentrate in their artists music, their voices and movements. They want to immerse in with the artist better, and see what is it portraying to the audience. In the end those same “people" who were “silent” during the concert are the ones who scream their lungs out and ask for an encore in the end because they enjoyed it.

Wow tysm for posting this! I imagine most of the crowd has no clue who Straykids are so they were just watching with intrigue and shock lol. Straykids have a very unique sound that sometimes takes some getting used to after the initial surprise. But then you quickly become addicted and can't stop listening to their music (speaking for myself lol)! They are so incredible and are my favorite kpop group hands down. So happy you got to see them live and I'm jealous you're so close 😭. They are such incredible performers ❤. One of a kind for sure!

It's probably their first time seeing them, or they aren't exactly a fan. And this wasn't even a concert... It's pretty understandable. I wouldn't be screaming and shouting too if it's an artist I barely know.
Totally get that the audience was quiet coz it was a company event but it must have felt so different/strange for them to perform to such a quiet room 😅 they did so well though ❤ there was so much smoke at the beginning lol could hardly see them walk in 🤭

I used to perform on stage, seeing the audience hyped up without phones used to give me adrenaline and it is very rewarding as a performer.
Same. Before the invention of portable telephones 😂.
I loved the nerves and adrenalin of the audience, that supportive boost right up until the moment the music or movement starts. Then, let us do our thing, without distraction, until we'd finish that song or that dance... then go full volume support again.
That was always my preference. For the audience to be loud before and after, but quiet during so I could block them and the stage fright out, and not mess up my performance for them. Everyone is different though.
