I could actually see one of Bruce Wayne's researchers coming up with something that allows a person to access other dimensions, and, although just in it's infancy, promises unlimited storage space, and, allows a person or we vehicle, to warp between points in a city, or, on a planet. Main limitation, energy hungry, so, you'd probably be limited as to how many leaps you could make on a full charge, and, how much distance you could cover, amongst other things.
I have thought he may done a hank pym using the atom's tech. for those who do not know hank pym for time went around with no costume and a belt containing all sorts of stuff shrunk down.
In my opinion the essential equipment should be stored and integrated into the suit itself: grapnel guns, smoke pellets and batarang launchers integrated into the gauntlets, communication equipment breathing equipment and cameras, night vision and infrared vision integrated into the cowl etc. So that every item is literally already at hand and able to be instantly deployed. The belt should mainly provide empty storage space for things found on the field.

Things found in the field would increase the weight and bulk of the belt possibly impeding his mobility. As for a Batarang launcher I wonder if that would be too KnightQuest for him? Jean Paul Valley in his Batsuit integrated a Bat-Shuriken launcher that was strictly for cutting people to pieces. Also a Batarang launcher would lose a lot of the finesse and fine control he has when throwing them, such as arc/hook throws and his fine muscle control over the force applied. That said, Batarang storage in the gauntlet would be a fine addition.

And i must add that the belt should provide safe storage for sensitive items like blood or other organic tissue. And the batarangs can be stored in the gauntlets but still be handled like normal batarangs.

He learned the most basic spell that allows for small areas to be expanded beyond their normal volume, basically giving small pouches the capacity of backpacks. When I was a kid in the early 90's, I remember in the original Batman cartoon, back in the 60's, where the Catwoman of that particular animated show me that quote saying "He carries a hardware store in that belt of his." As far as the tools that he carries in his belt I definitely like the grappling gun as well as the batarangs are the key principle, along with the other tools that he used during the Arkhamverse games.
Although Batman himself is a most outstanding hand-to-hand combatant, the belt is definitely a difference maker in certain situations, whether dealing with multiple attackers or multiple crises in different planets. It's even helped out the Justice League a few times. A definite must have!
He also has the Bat-missile-stopper gadget in his belt that could prevent Lex Luther from using his two rocket that not even super speed couldn't be catched at the same time in Superman 1978
Heck, I'd take the Bat-Fanny pack, as long as it had a nice sampling of useful items! One thing that used to get me on the Batman live action series, was, when Batman would pull from out of his Utility Belt, a bullet proof shield, big enough for him AND Robin to hide behind! The show was lots of fun, but, THAT was(almost)too much for even ME! AND, I was a KID at the time! However, it did teach me NOT to take EVERYTHING too seriously, and, to enjoy a laugh whenever possible, so, it wasn't a bad thing, at all!

As you mentioned, although there are some things that are USUALLY going to be in the belt, there's going to be times when a specific mission may need specific tools/materials, to accomplish a mission's objective, like, as you mentioned, Kryptonite! You also asked if Batman, without the belt.would STILL be Batman, to which I answer with an unequivocable YES! I refer you to Batman: Year One, in which a Batman, still new to his mission, is chased into a three-story building, which is firebombed WHILE he's still in it! Not only does he survive the bombing, he manages to take out a fully armed SWAT team with automatic weapons, WITHOUT. his Utility Belt, having lost it in the ensuing fire from the previous bombing! I would say that Batman, without his Utility Belt is just as dangerous, if not moreso, due to the fact that without it, he has to get VERY down and dirty, ESPECIALLY when confronted with stronger or more numerous opponents!

I once read in a question segment in a comic book (I forgot which one) where someone posted the question: "Does Batman keep knockout gas in his utility belt?" To which the answer was : "I don't know, but I do know that he'll knock us out if we try to look."
That was on the Bat Boat actually and if for some reason sharks were common in waters near Gotham which is possible it makes good sense to have some. Its a prep time gadget basically.
I remember a few comic panels where he had different styles and compartment sizes of his utility belt. Able to grab the one that best fit his needs at the time.
Batsy has enough strength and smarts to cope with just about anybody, but sometimes these may not be enough. The utility belt and its contents come in handy, especially since The Rogues Gallery doesn't always play fair. The utility belt perfectly compliments Batman's more "natural" talents and abilities and is a big help in his fight against crime.
It must also be pointed out that another purpose of the utiliy belt is it functions as pockets. Same principle applies to Captain America who, despite not using any gadgets, needs a small compartment on his waist. Hence, the utility belt.
Riffing on the very popular Shadow who used two .45 pistols. Batman would do well with some Doc Savage style mercy bullets but the guns uh, trigger his PTSD so they are right out.

I’m pretty sure that like McGuyver and Chuck Norris, in the President’s Man, Batman will and can make use of any everyday item as a weapon if caught as Bruce and without his utility belt to get out of sticky situations. But maybe that’s just me.

In the 1960’s Batman television series The Joker concluded that the real secret to what made Batman so unbeatable his utility belt so Joker copied Batman and made his own utility belt for the purpose of beating him and he nearly did. That shows a learning curve for his rouges gallery if only one of them.
I think Batman's Utility Belt is Largely is an Extension of him, where as with out the Belt he is Good but with the Belt he is simply that much Better specially in Hand to Hand Combat. But I do admit his Utility Belt is mainly just there for his Detective Skill although he could probably could do with out it, and to Help him out of Trouble.
Okay, you’ve done a video on the utility belt. Now you need to do a video on the Bat-suit, including the cape. Also, possibly some of the specialized variants of the suit that he has used in the comics. For example, during the “Knightfall” storyline, when he went after Firefly, he wore the flameproof version. But, let’s *try* to steer clear of suits like the black and silver one from “Batman & Robin”. Only the ones that are more legitimate.

Each pouch opens to its own pocket dimension, where it always has what he needs. Sort of a Schrödinger's tool belt. At any time there is exactly nothing and everything in each pouch
Injustice Batman definitely has the best belt because he carries the 5-U-93-R pills on him so he can battle pretty much any super power being that isn't more powerful then a regular Kryptonian.
I think that applies to many "non-lethal" weapons. If you use them the right (or wrong) way, you can kill someone with it. Non-fragmenting explosives? Stick them directly to someones head. Foam rounds? At short range they can inflict lethal brain trauma. Electric shock weapons? Long enough at the right spot (or just right person) and dead. I mean especially Batarangs can be used in a bazillion ways. BUT it goes the other way around too. With sufficient skill and luck, a gun too can be used non lethal (just hit somewhere painful, but non-life threatening). That's one of the things I like in the BvS warehouse fight. In the scenes where he stabs a guy and shoots the grapple through another he clearly pierces only their shoulder, one of the less risky spots (the thrown box and exploding flamethrower are a different story..). It shows that even potentially fatal attacks can be used in a non-lethal fashion.

Batman could always carry all his larger/heavier stuff in the batmobile constantly, and then anticipating what he requires on his current mission he would properly equip himself before hopping out of his car. Just a thought. The only thing that bugs me, is where is his grappling gun? It would have to be in a holster-sized pouch on his back or side, but you never see it...🤔 Unless it's in two pieces that are quickly and easily attached together for use. Other than that I really don't think it's too far-fetched for a genius like Batman to cram all that miniature stuff in his belt. Collapsible, foldable batarangs and such. If you really put your mind to it, you could fit a hell of a lot into a belt like that.

His skills are enough to take criminals.... but still the belt plays an important part because when he get caught up in tight condition.... there's always something in that belt to help him get out most of the time.

I would love to have his utility belt. His most important gadget would actually have to be the belt itself.
In the 1960’s Batman television series The Joker concluded that the real secret to what made Batman so unbeatable his utility belt so Joker copied Batman and made his own utility belt for the purpose of beating him and he nearly did.
That shows a learning curve for his rouges gallery if only one of them.

Well, he does manage to keep a good number of gadgets in his gauntlets and even boots in case he loses the belt.
I think Batman's Utility Belt is Largely is an Extension of him, where as with out the Belt he is Good but with the Belt he is simply that much Better specially in Hand to Hand Combat. But I do admit his Utility Belt is mainly just there for his Detective Skill although he could probably could do with out it, and to Help him out of Trouble.

Okay, you’ve done a video on the utility belt. Now you need to do a video on the Bat-suit, including the cape. Also, possibly some of the specialized variants of the suit that he has used in the comics. For example, during the “Knightfall” storyline, when he went after Firefly, he wore the flameproof version. But, let’s *try* to steer clear of suits like the black and silver one from “Batman & Robin”. Only the ones that are more legitimate.
I remember watching the old Batman movies & thinking “how the hell does he carry all those gadgets in that utility belt” even as a young kid it never made any sense to me. He woulda been better off just wearing a backpack
My theory why batman has everything in his utility belt is that he has a small pocket dimension that holds his shit and gives him access to every needed object

Each pouch opens to its own pocket dimension, where it always has what he needs. Sort of a Schrödinger's tool belt. At any time there is exactly nothing and everything in each pouch
Injustice Batman definitely has the best belt because he carries the 5-U-93-R pills on him so he can battle pretty much any super power being that isn't more powerful then a regular Kryptonian.

I'm sorry but the NON LETHAL grappling gun if it was shot at someone even relatively close then its definitely potentially LETHAL AS HELL....
I think that applies to many "non-lethal" weapons. If you use them the right (or wrong) way, you can kill someone with it. Non-fragmenting explosives? Stick them directly to someones head. Foam rounds? At short range they can inflict lethal brain trauma. Electric shock weapons? Long enough at the right spot (or just right person) and dead.
I mean especially Batarangs can be used in a bazillion ways. BUT it goes the other way around too. With sufficient skill and luck, a gun too can be used non lethal (just hit somewhere painful, but non-life threatening).
That's one of the things I like in the BvS warehouse fight. In the scenes where he stabs a guy and shoots the grapple through another he clearly pierces only their shoulder, one of the less risky spots (the thrown box and exploding flamethrower are a different story..). It shows that even potentially fatal attacks can be used in a non-lethal fashion.
@@scelonferdi Hell Yeah they are, I myself have always thought about shooting someone in the chest with a FLARE GUN at close range... I mean they are 12 gauge and fire the flare hundreds of feet into the air imagine what they would or could do!!?!! But I said that about the hook because it would be GRUESOME AS ALL HELL when u think about it..

half of batmans trademark is his gadgets, he needs technology to get it done , not all the time but most most of the time, and this is back to the first comic books of the character
Batman could always carry all his larger/heavier stuff in the batmobile constantly, and then anticipating what he requires on his current mission he would properly equip himself before hopping out of his car. Just a thought. The only thing that bugs me, is where is his grappling gun? It would have to be in a holster-sized pouch on his back or side, but you never see it...🤔 Unless it's in two pieces that are quickly and easily attached together for use. Other than that I really don't think it's too far-fetched for a genius like Batman to cram all that miniature stuff in his belt. Collapsible, foldable batarangs and such. If you really put your mind to it, you could fit a hell of a lot into a belt like that.
