- Hello everyone! Sorry for not uploading for so long, school is really killing me (cries in cs major).
Here is an unboxing video I did back in September (when I first got my new keyboard), and I've had it for a while now.

If no one told you already, the switch on the side of your sustain pedal is a polarity switch. It reverses the pedal so that it works the opposite of normal.

The CT-S400 is honestly the better keyboard is because it uses the new AiX sound source, introduced in the CT-X keyboard. The CT-S300 uses the old, outdated AHL sound source from the mid 2000s, introduced with the WK-220 and CTK-2000.
its also almost $100 more

Yeah true! That's why i decided to save a little more and go for the CT S400! The sound is definitely superior and closer to that of a piano! 🙌🙌

Ok this talking point is silly - all the reviewers say the new sound chip is better but is it really? It is different, but better is just an opinion. I have Casios with both and actually prefer the older ones.

You may want to cover it when not in use because direct sunlight tends to cause plastic to stain and turn colors.

Hey, really enjoyed the video. Would you recommend this keyboard for a total beginner? I don't want to spend a lot of money for now but I don't want to get discouraged by a low sound quality for example.

Greate review, I recently purchased the Casio CT-S300 Keyboard, but it did not come with the CD that contains the installation application and learning features. I would greatly appreciate it if you could upload the entire contents of the disk and provide a download link. This would be a wonderful opportunity for my child to start her beginner lessons, and it would be very helpful for all your viewers who are interested in maximizing the keyboard’s features. Thank you!
Is this piano have a function of dual audio or layering function like piano and string sound come at same time .
I haven't tried layering but I think using a software might help with this :)

hey, my ct-300 doesn’t connect to my garageband, there’s nothing wrong with the cable. garage band isn’t able to recognise the cable
I assume you mean USB cable?. Try connecting the keyboard to your interface through the headphones output maybe. I could be wrong, but I believe the USB out is for MIDI only, or to connect the keyboard to the Chordana Play app.
@@-dazz-sorry i’m not too educated on these things, the cable i have is type c on one end to plug in my mac and the other is usb cable to put in the casio. what is interfaxe?
@@julietrinh6973 I apologize because I commented before finishing watching the video. Clearly the author of the video used a USB cable to connect her keyboard to her Mac with, just like you did, so I would assume it should work for you as well. Again, sorry but I have no idea what might be wrong in your setup.

Hello! Thank you so much for his video, it made me buy this keyboard❤ But I have a question if you don't mind.
When the headphones aren't plugged in, it sounds great, but when I plug in the headphones, only the stereo grand piano voice is being played clearly and the other 399 ones are sounding very bad (like my ears are stuffed, with echo). Is this normal? Do you have this issue as well? Thank you❤
That’s normal! I had a similar issue for my other electrical piano which was more professional than this keyboard☺️

@SavAnnaP Did you notice that 1st tone (01.Stereo Grand Piano) has a higher volume than the others ?
I think so? Actually I didn't notice until you mentioned it, but I think some sounds are stronger than the others
@@SavAnnaP Yeah, I asked you cuz I thought mine had a bug, but it's normal then. Actually I don't like those Piano tones. I'm using Piano One Plugin on Reaper, it's fantastic. Have you tried ?

It’s basically just resting on the stand, no screws underneath

Hi i just got mine recently and have been trying to connect it to garageband, but no success. I tried a couple of other cables as well with no luck, i might have to find new ones. Did you need to change anything in the settings or use a drive/software to make the midi connection work? thanks in advance!
Not at all! I only needed to connect the usb port to my computer. It’s all the the GarageBand settings. Hopefully this helps!
Does this have any sensitivity in the keys?
this has two levels of sensitivity, the CT S400 has 3 levels
Hii! Can i also only plug the USB charger thing like a computer stick into my laptop without a usb connector like u had in this video or is it not possible??
I think that depends on how ur computer connects to usb, but that sounds like it should work!
