It was a projection. They often did this for the transfomations if you search on youtube for the Sera Myu transformations. It was usually for the ending pose, though; not a full one like this.
Solely done on the film release!!! On stage the lights merely went out, we heard they're voices and then after a small light show, they appeared transformed! :)
nope....for a musical and it is performed live...and the time where the SeraMyu has been played....it does not suck ^___^ it may not satiate our imagination (coz our imagination is way cooler than this) but it is cool ^___^ btw try viewing my toy reviews I own those thanks ^___^ Domo arigato gozaimasu! ja ne! mata! -Shinotaru
@klyspeez I agree that the anime was great, but I think the musicals were as well. There was lots of over-the-top and cheesy comedy in the anime as well and the musicals simply carried on that spirit, but they were certainly not without their serious or touching moments.
@iAsian92 Well, actually, it was just to catch attention, since it's well, a musical. I was a bit suprised when I first saw the Sera Myu costumes too, honestly; I thought they would be like the PGSM ones which were supposed to be realistic...
