Just Awful sound editing and mixing throughout this whole show... there are points where one person is talking clearly then another intones a point of view and you cant hear them so you increase the volume and then someone says something funny and the volume jumps and flares out the microphones... really, truly amateurish sound production and mastering - even below that of a public TV talk show. Its an irony that such an issue would be detracting from the enjoyment of a discussion between the highest professional artists of the same industry of media production - LAME!
I can't believe Annette Benning had to go to acting class to receive the "brilliant" advice of just pretending your costar is someone you adore to help you feel affection for that person.
Franco has always went dark on these. You guys should see all of them. I assume he's learning from the ideas around the table. I assume thats just how he works academically. Everyone else is just having fun. Nothing wrong in either moments...
I'm surprised they didn't talk about if you hated the character that plays your love interest which happens ...best one I can think of is Omar al Sharif and Julie Christie he hated her guts XD now that's acting !
I think it depends, I've seen other round tables where she's very open about it. Looking at her work over the years, she's actually one the most risk taking actors around - but of course that depends on her relationship with the director and script, and on that count, I think she chooses her roles really well based on this.
