- Failsafe is returning as an exotic that fires Exodus Rockets. This character was a big part of the Red War, but has been absent for a few years even in the Lore. She’s back with some attitude. We’ll also take a look at some new Rhulk lore from Pantheon, Final Shape Exotic armor and weapons and more!

i did some of her quests in withc queen to get armor but with old weapons coming back she might be logical to do

I know its a long shot but fail safe laughing with you get a kill with the rockets would be hilarious.
Sorta like how if you die to the ome fallen in the beyond light and if you die to his tripmines, he laughs at you.
They need it where failsafe is making comments to you while equipped

The last time we ever heard Fail-safe's voice was during The Forsaken campaign.
She came back in a strike at some point.

Failsafe is one of my favorite voiced characters. I really wish Bungie would treat their voice actors better.

I always thought it be cool if the vanguard put Failsafe in a frame, and have her hangout with Archie at the tower, move em around to random spots and such
In the new lore for Rhulk Bungie pretty much says that Rhulk IS the most powerful enemy we've faced yet including Nezarec. Also all these Raid lore tabs are after Season of the Wish hence why the vanguard are launching a probe to Lubrabe, copy of Atraks-1 is still out there, etc.
Nezarec also admits during RoN that he’s not at the height of his power despite having the light. I would love to know how strong Nez was before he died during the collapse, hopefully lore comes out about that in the future
You’re the first person I’ve seen bring this up. I’m glad I’m not the only one who read that part of the TWID.
+In the new Lore (from the TWID) Rhulk is named as being a part of the Dread

Rhulk just "died" because of his own arrogance. He didn't saw us as a thread...

I visit her every week but having her on our adventures would be amazing

I don't think Hazardous Propulsion is failsafe.
I think it make more sense that it comes from the Exodus Indigo in Neomuna.
All of the Neomuna destination weapons came from the indigo and they all feature the nanotech tracer rockets origin perk.

It could literally be any exodus ship, iirc exodus red is right there in the cosmodrome, but indigo makes a lot of sense

6:15 That loneliness is why I think she deserves a mobile body, if possible, or at least have her removed from the Exodus Black and brought to a less lonesome location. I think even Asher Mir had strong words about the fact that the Vanguard were just leaving a Golden Age AI like Failsafe on Nessus.

She can have the experimental exo frame since no one is using it. Just slap some arms and legs on it and turn her loose in the tower.
@@saikopomp He was a madman even before the Collapse. Hell, it's very telling that Banshee, who is Clovis Bray the First but as an Exo, ended up being a better person than him purely because he lacked the memories and experiences from his human life.

@jinzo637 the freaky part is that her creepy grandfather was the one to design the exo bodies. So think how unsettling it is to relise she looks like that cause of his designs.

With all the hate for mataidoxía I laugh knowing blightranger still reigns as worst exotic since no one has thought of it when saying that mataidoxía will be the worst exotic.
Blightranger should be reworked into the new arc super in some way.
Honestly it's baffling how the community IMMEDIATELY started hating mataidoxia. The exotic isn't even out - we don't know the extent of it's perk. It's the same as looking at a basic description of any exotic in loadout screen
@@grappier5636 because the trailer makes it seem like it will take all three melees to suspend an enemy, the warlock has tons of better options if thats the case

@@wolffang-vz2tyI'm really hoping bungie instead made it so the explosion is delayed, and each melee increases the radius, but I'm not keeping my expectations up that high.

I loved how neurotic Failsafe was. From up beat sounding Failsafe to dead soul sounding Failsafe. Failsafe was gold!!!
They should have given us a weapon that gave us failsafe lines when we equip the weapon, make a kill or die 😂

I was always hoping after the red war theu would actually install Failsafe in the tower. She would be a great asset if installed in the tower

Bungie should bring adventures back at some point. Even if the campaign can’t I’m sure adventures can since they mostly used areas we still use it’s mostly bringing stuff back. Maybe I’m wrong but the reason I bring them up is failsafe reminded me of them since the last ones I did were on Nessus.
I still have the Khvostov in its grey version in my Inventory. xD Sentimental, I know. xD

I’m hoping for a Borderlands’ quest helping robot to be ‘more’ than killer, first becoming a Boom Box : it has epiphany it is better killer than tune-spinner, so then you decide if you want the Social Shotgun or an Absorb Shield either making comments when out-of-ammo or shield’s down.
Still rather have a Ghost that warns you, “there is a Captain with a Gjallerhorn behind you” situational help.
If I hear Failsafe when using this Exotic, I'm probably never taking it off.

The lore tab with Glint is factually incorrect I always drop by Failsafe when I visit Nessus for fishing, farming enemies and events, checking Xur or Carl, and I even drop by during the Exodus Crash strike!
So FTL probes are a thing now. Not to mention the fact that I doubt that planet Lubrae is in the Milky Way galaxy.
Guardian ships use near lightspeed (NLS) drives so I'm sure more advanced technology than what we can get for our single-seater ships is out there, especially with pyramid technology and vex teleportation/time travel
@@xXx_Regulus_xXx True enough, though I thought NLS drives stood for Non-Linear Space drives. I mean the Jumpships do seem to be going at FTL speeds around the solar system based on some of the lore entries out there.

I don't know why they keep bringing back the Khvostov as an exotic, what they should do is take the Exotic Khvostov from D1 and make it a legendary ritual weapon or better yet a craftable weapon
Failsafe is hilarious. I hope her AI is in the exotic chest and talks to us... mocking us with faint praise, and withering barbs, lol.
The question is who is going be inside the exotic? Failsafe? Or her evil twin, Failsafe? Perhaps both...

I don't think it's failsafe. It might be some of her tech. If they could remove her it would have been better to put her in an exo- body. Her golden age knowledge could have been invaluable. I think it's just an armor piece with the logo found on her, just like tech from Rasputin had his emblem on his creations or tech. Hopefully they will surprise us with her getting transfered to an exo guardian that could be a part of our team.
How to turn our friends into exotics
What pisses me off about the new Khvostov exotic is that it looks like dogshit, seemingly using one of it's ornaments from Rise of Iron as inspiration. And you know Bungie's going to use that as an excuse to make the normal and good looking Khvostov an ornament you're forced to either pay for or wait who knows how long for it to pop up in the Bright Dust exchange.

No, all new exotic armor can only be obtained from Rahool now. Lost sectors will just drop exotic engrams and the Vex Strike Force on Neomuna will drop any exotic up until season of the wish (current season)
