05:06 "guy who heard something on the top of a mountain"? Not the best start to try to convince ppl of the story of Sinai.. Why do you so often compare, or rather ridicule other religions to set yourself apart? Just as you don't believe in their validity, there is zero historical or archeological proof that any group of people left Egypt, wandered through the desert (let alone 40.000 people for 40 years) and ever set foot on Mount Sinai -not even mentioning recieving a book from a spiritual being ...Imagine your reaction if you heard this story from a "cult", say in South America.. Just let them be and concentrate on yours. Seems to me that people who often compare themselves to others, doubt in their own thing
Sure its hard for 3 million people to conspire on a lie. But if a smaller group of 50-100 people had some spiritual experience at mount sinai and then spread the word that the entire nation had this experience and the actual number of sinai participants were inflated over time that can explain how the numbers got to 3 million without 3 million people ever having been there.
No hate, but this is one of the most basic "objections" to this line of reasoning and has been conclusively refuted by Rabbis like Dovid Gottlieb. See what they have to say.
From my understanding the bible never describes an actual revelation to all the nation of Israel other than fire and smoke. I think the most likely scenario is that God was simply part of the language at the time. God makes the sun go up and down, God blessed me with good fortune, God saved us from Egypt, god revealed himself to us in fire and smoke, etc…. God was simply part of the language and part of their belief system. They believed God was in the fire and smoke and so they passed on that God revealed himself in fire and smoke but there is no proof that God was actually in the fire and smoke. To my understanding God never spoke to them and it was Moses that was supposedly speaking God’s words.
@LInda Gray - Look I am really ticked off about his comment about the Shoah being a 'selection'. Does he know the mind of G-d ? Anyway, he claimed HE HAD A PROOF, and I point out his proof is invalid. All supernatural based religions are believed because of faith and none have any 'proof'.
ok, you have a challenge - then e mail him. Or any number of Rabbanim that will talk answer you directly: Rabbi Mordechai Becher, Rabbi Akiva Tatz, Rabbi Yehoshua Zitron , Rabbi Zecharia Wallerstein, Mr. Charlie Harary. There are so many, they are all good, they are all logical they are all more than willing to talk to you. If you throw down the gauntlet then instead of commenting on some youtube channel - actually "challenge" someone who is in the know and can talk with you! Go for it!!

really amazing
Jews reject the resurrection of Jesus because that would make him the most righteous.
No lol

No no no... L. Ron Hubbard did that already.
In your imagination perhaps?
Thee is absolutely no evidence that anybody was at Mount Sinai, let alone that something took place there.
D. Apple Do we really need proof, is that not what Faith is, from the scribes. We will surely have it confirmed if humans carry on the way they are.
