Вставка
- Опубліковано 28 чер 2024
- Here is another beautiful fountain pen on loan from pen friend Murray in another installment of "Murray's Moments". I talk about the parts and features of the pen, provide some size comparisons and measurements, and then do a writing sample. After the writing sample, I talk about what I like and what I don't like about the pen. Please feel free to use the chapters provided below to skip to various parts of the review.

"IF" . The words are echoing in my brains.
Crazy-elegant pen. So nice of Murray to loan it out for our total enjoyment. Thank you for featuring it!
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks a lot for yet another beautiful review, Doug. Many thanks to Murray for sharing this exquisite pen with us.
Thanks and please keep up your very excellent work!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Jan Zander and Jan Zimmerman need to collaborate on a fountain pen music nib.
Awesome review. Beautiful pen. I love its design & hefty weight. Thanks.
Many thanks for your positive feedback.
My pleasure! Congratulations on the exquisite design!
Indeed very elegant! Thanks Doug and Murray! :)
Glad you enjoyed it
Jan Zander Imagine 😍 This one is on my to-buy-list, but not in rose gold 😉 Great review, thank you! Especially your (not so) subtle remarks about Lamy are always funny 😂 Although I am a huge fan of Bauhaus-style minimalistic design myself (maybe that‘s a German thing), I totally get why this is not for everybody.
You are so welcome!
I have the impression that carbon material in any form catches the eye right away. In my local pen store, I regularly see the Porsche Tec Flex FP, with braided carbon. You can look at these pens from afar and continue to enjoy the things that are available for mere mortals.
The best things in life are free anyway!
PS: the professor’s again looking very elegant too!
Thank you G! 😊
That is a really intriguing pen. 👍
Wow! I think this pen is super elegant. That clip is a nice touch. By the way, is Murray a billionaire?😊. He is one generous dude. Great video as usual. 👍
Murray is a great guy!
Sweet!
Impressive pen. I am guessing the weight is from the magnets, not the carbon or the gold trim.
It is a simple design but such designs are classic and beautiful in their simplicity.
The price, not so much. It is out of my wheelhouse, but it is a lovely pen.
Thanks for the review and for introducing me to a relatively unknown company.
You are correct!
Great review!!🙏
Thank you! Cheers!
Very cool pen.
Do you like rose gold or regular yellow old more Doug? For me it's rose gold... It just does something to me when I see it haha Awesome pen!
Me too!
Douglas, after watching your channel I couldnt resist, now I only have question what steel nib size should I get, I like the asvine f, but is the new leonardo momento zero f more on the western or japanese side?
Western. It is a German Jowo.
When is Murray joining in one of your videos?
He guards his privacy! :)
Great review as always! Wanted your advice on a few things! Regarding using fountain ink in something like the refillable rollerball PenBBS unit, are there brands of FP ink that are generally safer to use as they don’t have sheen, shimmer or other particles? Or specific models from brands that are generally safe? Like perhaps Diamine may make “safer” inks like this that are ok or avoid brand X 4:11 at all costs bec they include particles. Also, do you recommend any specific product to get FP ink off of fingers? I’ve seen several hand cleaners but wanted your advice.
I would avoid and shimmer or sheening inks in a FP rollerball.
😃
Well, if this is considered austere German design, the SS was a humanitarian organisation...
