I am facing one issue with QMC. When I manually run code through QV file its successful but same is not working through QMC. Task: I am trying to upload file from shared drive to azure blob storage. Please assist me. It just skip that step and does not give any error.
When you reload through QMC, it uses permissions of service account. Check if service account has write permission to the folder you are keeping files. Also turn on logging to see the error. It might give you more insight.

I think it might seems intuitive but the way security rules are built, based on custom properties or other properties, it will be a risk that it will work without tweaking. But if your use case is moving between Development and production system, then you might explore powertools or Qlik-CLI.
Need version control on security rules
That can be a good option if Qlik offers it. Even if we get option to duplicate from button, it will offer a good base to alternate.
