Anyways just get back in the range and practice heads hots like he said. Super easy to get back into the swing of things. Jist gotta drop those COD habits lol
for the sensitivity tip i learned this a few years ago and the rule is kinda similar except it applies to every platform and its just that you should keep trying 360s until you feel like you can do them perfect at 100% stick lean on controller/fast on swipes mouse or mobile and it should feel natural
@@KaTSu-ys3fn try both and for ads u go into shooting range and the section with moving dots and u should follow the dots until i feel that you can match the speed of them
I catch myself checking angles and hallways where opponents might be, but I'm not metallurgy mentally prepared to fight someone so I loose the fight if there is a person there
When warming up it’s also important to warm up non ads sens. I like to try to do perfect 180s and 360s and do the balloon thing but move non ads and quick scope them. I also think it’s worth running muzzlebrake on a lot of guns and just anticipating the recoil by preaing/pulling down prior as you are aiming in. When you practice this in shooting range it becomes 2nd nature and you have no recoil when quickscoping and firing on a opp. For the super long angles you also get the benefit of being able to tap fire like a semiautomatic
Another reason that I have noticed is a lot of people are point goblins and shoot every gadget they see, even ones that aren’t actively being used against you, like jager ads’s and bandit batteries. (I’m point goblins). Moving your aim away from angles to shoot gadgets can lead to you having to flick back to the enemy or being caught off guard.
For #2 I try to suppressing fire and estimate when they'll pass through uber tight angles with pre-fires. I only hold tight angles they have to run through to get closer to site and that doesn't leave me wildly clearly exposed. Trapping them in a vault animation, on a frost mat, etc. Makes it so much easier to confirm shots because the animations are solid. Clash for example felt impossible to kill because her shield swings to her right hard as shit so she just turns to the left. Didn't know it was as easy as it actually is to disable a clash player.
Im always in the worst mind set when i play i always get yelled out and told to delete by my soloq teammates ive gotten to the point i just mute myself and stay silent 😭
I appreciate the video good sir. I came from Xbox and being a controller player. And I finally got on pc a month ago. My cousin and buddy have been helping me a little bit. But sometimes it’s good to hear what an outside source has to say as well. I’ve had my aspect ratio on auto. So I’m definitely going to mess around with it and see what I like better. And really I shouldn’t be too discouraged because trying to learn mnk is hard and it takes time. Sometimes it’s the little things that make a difference! You keep doing something the same way, and expect different results the next time. What that does is leads you to insanity
Yeah I'm happy to help bro. I was in your shoes at one point cause I started on Xbox as well. I understand how hard the transition can be, but I think its worth it. I wish you luck on your improvement. Just keep putting in the hours and itll become second nature eventually
@@BMP in one day you got me from man I don’t know about this. To man maybe I’m on to something here. The aspect ratio definitely helped. And I drilled into my head what guns to do what. Like the L8, pull down to the right. Para down to the left, extc extc. I wasn’t controlling recoil correctly because I wasn’t thinking about it at all. And once I get that down, I can work on polishing up my keyboard hand
For number 6 I try to crouch every time I swing in gunfights because for people I play against they hold angles at head level but once I get in higher ranks and out of playing the same people in custom games this will be helpful. Thanks!
What’s better is only crouch if you’ve peeked an opponent and they seen you standing up the first time, for example if you turn a corner and you’re standing up, and the enemy sees you do that, come back around the corner but this time crouching, as they most likely are holding the position you were last in, aiming for that high headshot.
It's fairly difficult to make adjustments sometimes because the netcode/servers are so bad. 3-4 times a game I "whiff" when the replay shows I clearly hit my target, or I'll get a headshot when shooting the air next to my target. It's hard to reinforce good habits and kick the bad ones when they aren't rewarded/punished consistently.
the sensitivity rule of 360 and more are in my eye hilarius. I noticed when i do a flick in my infront 90° view, i miss them all the time but to do 360 are not a problem. Thats why i have my own rule of 180° to 270°
when i warmup too much in the shooting range and then hop into ranked i always whiff. Is it because i warmup too much? If yes how long should i warmup to prevent this from happening?
It's sounds like you're over estimating your own skill level. Of course I don't mean offense. But in terms of warm up time, it's mostly preference. If you think it's too long, then shorten it and vice versa.
Crouch spam in val and cs2 is also a bad thing because it forces you in a spray off where you either win or die, and doesnt allow you to strafe at all.
With the second point I suggest only holding those wider angles on uncommon angles because when you get to higher ranks people tend to prefire those corners and you're more likely to get hit while holding wider angles
about #6, when is it good to crouch in a gunfight? Your point is true cs i’ve got one tapped by people who aim chest level but it’s also saved me from people aiming head level
Mostly as a gunfight starts to get longer is when you should crouch as over time most people will start to aim for your head and adjusting your head level can throw them off in longer gunfights
an easy way to get rid of the crouch habbit is to unbind the crouch button while playing quickmatch. that way you will forget about spam crouching during gun fights
I'm new but I've spent about 35hr in just the firing range trying to shift over from being a league player for 12yr, an OW player, to cs2, to now r6. All of the guns respond perfectly to a counterswayed lean. By this I mean if you go from neutral to right lean while holding back left you'll place it on them. If you crouch/uncrouch/crouch within 2f you can put your head level at your nape effectively and as long as you're holding down+the direction your gun is facing (for right lean hold down and left or down and right for like a couple guns and vice versa) it neutralizes recoil and allows you to fully utilize the lean mechanic. I can post at doorways and spray pretty good circles at this point and I moved from a legitimate 9600×.35 dpi on siege/ow2/cs2 to an effective dpi across the board of 4960. I fucked my mouse settings awhile ago and had mouse acceleration at 1.5 on a 6400dpi set mouse. I had a 0.84 kda with 9600dpi. I did try 400 dpi on siege and I have to move my arm across my entire f&$^ing desk which ain't happening. 800 felt too slow, 3200 felt too jittery and slow because of the verticality and big ass rooms on 1920x1080 I changed my fov to 81 and now I'm able to adjust without flicking (snapping the mouse to a different position without reasonable interpolation of movement, think instinct vs thought) and turning around forces me to use my arm so I get the benefits of arm aiming forcing my brain to think instead of just flicking my wrist and having to flick back using only my wrist now I accelerate to targets and use my movement (in cs2 the lackthereof) to counter the recoil or guide my line of fire. I started out with everyone seeing every flinch I made at getting jumpscared by the bullshit of r6. Now that my mouse has 500hz it cuts the responsiveness of my unstable hands, I have a slower dpi which also reduces the translated shakiness, and I aim drilled with a fucking demon for 2hr that bullied me.
I kind of lost the point, but even with godlike aim there's so much tech in the game that it's honestly imo just like the LoL ladder, take 2yr to learn the game and have fun then sweat your shit for a year and a half before choosing to reach for upper echelons or just play casual. If you've got any tips for learning the 10-20m range better that'd be great bc I have 20m aim but in that mid zone I cannot hit a fucking thing.
Bro I just have a bad mindset cause of my teammate hes always talking shit about me when im doing bad or good and I come back from 2 week breaks and im doing better than him and Im like semi wash cause of the breaks, but he still talks crap. W vid imma mute him when he trash talks.
Because I can’t keep my mouth shut and I can’t help myself despite not yet watching the full video and knowing if it is covered I am going to add on to #2. Whether you are holding a super tight pixel peak angle or a doorway/hallway should determine how tight you are holding. If you expect them to run by or or run into you then have a wider angle but if you are holding a known peak spot, definitely go for tighter as they are far less likely to shoot across your screen.
Ngl, I use lean spam to ADJUST my aim. Like, looking back at recordings half my kills are because I leaned the crosshair instead of micro adjust with the mouse
Back here a week later and Im confident to say that i went from 1-2 kills and 5-6 deaths a round to 10+ kills and 0-2 deaths a round. Like on this video is deserved thank u 👍
5-6k Elo 1.0 player here coming back to siege, I’ve been using 70-94 hip 18-21 ads for yrs and now 25% acceleration and heavily relying on hip flicks and movement in my gameplay, how do I figure out to find a sens where my aim is better but I still can move about fluidly as I’m kinda in a slump rn
Most players of fps games across the board have too high of a sensitivity to have competitive aim. It doesn't help that most fps games have very high sensitivity sliders for anything above 400 dpi. In some games the bottom of the sensitivity slider will still be unreasonably high at 400 dpi.
Very helpful thanks i am not a new player or anything played 900 hours not all in go but with many breaks i must admit i am guilty of not warming up like to just get stuck in and go for it but might have too for a bit just to see what diffrence it can make trying to rank highest i been is silver but mostly get stuck in low ranks do feel i am a bit better then that but still of course no were near where i need to be
Lean and crouch spamming is important, don’t stop using them. Different combos can mix up your gunfights and keep you unpredictable & harder to be hit.
crouching mid gunfight is actually kinda goat if youre fighting a sweat who only aims head. many many times crouching mid shootout ive caused people to miss my head getting me the kill
I used to stream on Twitch, and if I ever do stream again it will likely be multiplatform on twitch and YT, but I quit streaming because it was effecting my ability to get videos done on time. Also with cheaters rn its basically impossible to make entertaining stream content
Leaning mid gunfight on console is actually the move, different from lean spamming but say you full commit a swing on someone and you’re full auto controlling recoil but your pre aim is a bit off, sometimes it’s infinitely easier to hit a lean and to let the lean make the micro adjustment for your aim than trying to adjust while controlling recoil. I used to lean spam because I played the game since release and back when the lean was the speed of light you could move your head around so fast it actually had a major advantage so it was muscle memory. When trying to break my lean spam habits I realized a well timed lean can actually get you a kill you wouldn’t have been able to aim fast enough for otherwise. Micro adjustments with a thumb can be hard
I dont know what "Whiff" is supposed to mean but if it means criticizing others then it has a reason who else gets those random mates who cant even control the easiest Guns recoil, miss every shot and then complain about the Team being "garbage"? Well i get lots of those intelligent beasts.

Very helpful thanks i am not a new player or anything played 900 hours not all in go but with many breaks i must admit i am guilty of not warming up like to just get stuck in and go for it but might have too for a bit just to see what diffrence it can make trying to rank highest i been is silver but mostly get stuck in low ranks do feel i am a bit better then that but still of course no were near where i need to be
Just found your video as I recently started playing r6 and you have such a UA-camr/guide voice 😂 “in a good way”
I appreciate that....I think lol 😅
0% unhelpful ✅
100%changed my whole life ✅
Lean and crouch spamming is important, don’t stop using them. Different combos can mix up your gunfights and keep you unpredictable & harder to be hit.
crouching mid gunfight is actually kinda goat if youre fighting a sweat who only aims head. many many times crouching mid shootout ive caused people to miss my head getting me the kill
Do you stream R6 on Twitch or any other platforms?
I used to stream on Twitch, and if I ever do stream again it will likely be multiplatform on twitch and YT, but I quit streaming because it was effecting my ability to get videos done on time. Also with cheaters rn its basically impossible to make entertaining stream content
great video
wow, this is actually usefull.
for #6 it can help if you just disable the crouch key until you lose the habit
Thanks now i learned techniques for arena breakout
Do you mean with the first reason also pre fire? And is pre fire something you should do more or better do less?
about #2 wont you be at the disadvntage if you peek wide coz of the peekers advantage?
I’m a clash player so 360s are super important
im actually really good at being patient, my teammates will yell at me for not shooting at a guy that was on my screen for half a second
Me: "stop doing this you weirdo, i want to make it inside the building 🥴"
I got a bad Sprint habit
the tight angles used to be a lot better before the game was played like cod
Whiff is when you miss all your shots
A whiff is basically when you mess up or have an easy shot and you miss @jeremyB897
What if I’m not whiffing but getting peaked before I can even see them, to many times have I gotten killed before I see them
Do pull down to the right or left on the SMG 12
these get better at r6 tip videos follow the same circle.
video 1: "remember to prefire when peeking"
video 2. "dont shoot before you have a clear sight"
me: "AAAAAARGH"
this video is somewhat helpful but most people in low ranks just need to play more to get better aim imo.
What crosshairs is that
Tip #1 contradicts the prefire rule
also sometimes it's hit registration, even if you hit someone it can sometimes not register it happens to me a lot, theres nothing you can do about this unfortunately
in my opinion pink is the best crosshair color
never has been a problem
Uh I have a question is mute actually good I keep seeing videos that say it’s so good
I keep accidentally hitting the lean button, making me panic and then lean spam
Stick to the same scope. Across all guns. I cant stress how mucj this.has helped me. Lol dont worry about no acog. Use the reflex scope and turn off screen shake
I wish there was a way to disable knifing on console. I lost so many gun fights by knifing instead of leaning.
Im just getting old and my reaction time isnt what it used to be lol
I really don't get how people can lean spam while shooting. I appreciate my hands and controller too much, I guess 😅
1. They’re hacking
2. Your team isn’t helping you
3. The game is bad
4. The enemy team is running a macro
5. Sound queues are bad (similar to reason 3.)
6. Your team isn’t on cams
7. Your team isn’t giving callouts
8. They’re so bad you don’t expect them to do that stupid shit
9. They got lucky
10. You were lagging
11. They’re a sweat and need to go outside
12. You had a frame drop
Remember, whiffing your shots and/or playing badly is NEVER your fault.
The thing that has me wondering is when he said try not to lean while shooting but then throughout the whole video except for the shooting range all the shooting was on a lean. 🤔 🤷♂️
im champ 1.2-1.3kd on console and i just cant get any better than what im at rn
I do in fact have a .1 second reaction time 😊
No
I will die on this hill for lean spamming 😂 I get so many headshots doing it
I might not whiff all the time but sieges hit boxes are just not it especially on Doc and Ash. 💀
Reason 13: I play on console with a controller.
Apparently KBM is how you win.
I play for fun.
I play with hardly any sound and my sensitivity on my controller is at default and still average 9+ kills every game!
Pov me after 1.5 years not playing siege i play whit group and still win most of matches 🗿
attachment skin?
can one of them be my wrist injury? lmao
Yeah that would do it 💀
(its just a game) later on: set you screen to 4:3 so its ugly and wide but you better.....
I’m gonna be honest a lot of these are a major skill issue a lot of these can be easily fixed by just learning the Hishon peak wish you would’ve mentioned it so the new players could see how broken it is, it’s free Intel no utility required and will let you know where you’re going to be challed from
6:11 why IQ sitting like that lmao
What headset you use ????
Hyper X Cloud 2's
Nah what gets me in a bad mood during a game is shit randoms
The best r6 players wiff just not as frequently.
im new to pc and my hs% has dropped but my kd has gone from like nearly a 1.00 to a 1.12 and im playing way better my hs% before was like 52% and now its like 48%
Crouching only works against high recoil weapons like vector,f2 or bad players whit a trash recoil control
The perfect example 12:10
