The humanitarian need around the world will only grow. I’m grateful to do my small part in donating to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and their various funds of tithing ,fast offerings, and humanitarian aide. When I was younger I helped individuals more. Went in their homes and showed them how to clean, organize their bills, feed their children, use a computer, organize a school report. I also gave and served food at the local homeless shelters and many other acts of service. Now my health isn’t good and I help as much as I can. So I donate to the Church who can do far more collectively than I can. So many people complain about the way things are run or that things aren’t perfect. So……What are you doing ? Put your money where your mouth is, even if it’s “ the widows mite.”
God bless all those who try to help those in need, and who are suffering, both temporally, as well as spiritually! God bless those who are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and those who aren't yet members, but are really striving to bless humanity, and to help the world be a better place!
I sometimes hear hell fire and brimstone preachers on so called "Christian" radio channels run down the Latter-day Saints. Yet I'd be willing to guess that not one penny they get goes to helping those in need. Rather to their bank accounts and don't lift a finger otherwise. Yet, the Latter-day Saint's funds go to help others in need REGARDLESS of faith. The Lord once said by their fruits ye shall know them. Thank the Lord for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints!
This makes me want to increase my fast offerings! There is so much need. God bless all who are helping to support charities like this and like the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
This is absolutely amazing! I am grateful for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and friends of the faith, I love being a member and tithing!☺️
@ChurchNewsroom & @TheChurchofJESUSCHRISTofLaatter-daySaints Bless your hearts for all you do to as Heavenly Father & our Savior guide you to ✌😇💓 What a huge miraculous donation to help all those who need to feel thee Saviors love & Heavenly Father's love in all they are sadly faced with just to get food.
“Anonymous” talk given by Elder Monson in April 1983. Sadly, we are becoming virtue signalers and following the pattern of the world over the teachings of the Savior in our effort to be praised of the world. There is little that we do now without making a press release over it. From the church’s website I found this explanation for this exemption from following the Saviors direct admonition. “Two New Testament scriptures seem to be somewhat in conflict regarding the issue. In the Beatitudes, Jesus taught that we should do our “alms … in secret.” Yet in another Bible scripture, Jesus tells his followers to “let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Faced with the dilemma between publicizing the good works and results of its worldwide humanitarian efforts on the one hand and appearing self-promotional on the other, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints attempts to find a balance and walk that fine line.” There is no fine line whatsoever. The error of this reasoning is the fact that Jesus Christ is the light of the world. He let his example shine forth, he never boasted about his service and good works - he just did them. The world’s way of social justice and virtue signaling have crept into the church in this and in so many other instances as the philosophies of men are mingled with scripture. I certainly will not follow this example in my personal life but will continue to follow the example and teachings of the Savior.

I have had people DM me on IG asking for money for food in Africa. I kept telling them about the church. I know if they're truly in need if I do my part (pay tithe) God will make that money reach those people.
Love our Church and it's capacity to help!

The Greatest Living Church on Earth
The work of the Lord.
Wonderful giving at such a time of need
A Igreja de Jesus Cristo SUD sempre à frente ao cuidar dos menos favorecidos 🙏
Faith without works is death
I’m all for this, one thing tho I wish they would release how much is going towards wages of workers and how much is going towards food.
let not thy right hand know what the left is doing.
Most Excellent.
Well done!
Wonderful contribution! But I still believe we can do so much more as a Church to feed the poor.
The gift is fantastic. The church is true in its intentions. Can the U N be trusted to administer the funds in the manner the Lord intended?

Do not your alms before men to be seen of them.
