When I was in Primary School we would celebrate St. George`s day every year. Btw I am 24. In High School this never happened. I am,a retired Primary/Junior school teacher. I did a lot of Supply in Scotland, England and London as well as permanent posts from 1969 to 2007. Itmwas always obvious to me that middle class schools kept to traditional methods and well disciplined while working class schools were always experimenting and discipline was slack. I am convinced ‘They’ don’t want an educated thinking working class. ‘They’ need unemployment and complacency. I saw an interesting documentary stating that an educated and thinking working class as was done in the 1950s would lead to organised protests. What we have now is silly well off university students protesting over silly stuff and the working class is left unemployed and disorganised.

Interesting, only one religion opposed the rules and regulations, the attitude being that all will conform to us, the danger is not looming on the horizon, it's already here, best we take the fight to them.

Another thing like this that went under the radar is the closing of the English rudolf Steiner schools in England. All excellent schools closed on trumped up charges of child safety.

I am,a retired Primary/Junior school teacher. I did a lot of Supply in Scotland, England and London as well as permanent posts from 1969 to 2007. Itmwas always obvious to me that middle class schools kept to traditional methods and well disciplined while working class schools were always experimenting and discipline was slack. I am convinced ‘They’ don’t want an educated thinking working class. ‘They’ need unemployment and complacency. I saw an interesting documentary stating that an educated and thinking working class as was done in the 1950s would lead to organised protests. What we have now is silly well off university students protesting over silly stuff and the working class is left unemployed and disorganised.
I thank the Lord that back in the UK I went to a school where discipline was one of its strong points.
If you want to know who a person or Institution is all about then merely look at who their enemies are.

Douglas the schools do oust success because yes it shows the inadequacy of there mainstream views…I’ve had it done to me..highly successful teacher ousted because my results were highlighting inadequacies of my peers class results.
