I've had my Stealth's for 6 months now and am really happy with them. As you (and my club fitter) said, lofts really don't matter. The Stealths are slightly longer than my old irons, but certainly not "jacked-up". I have the steel KBS Reg shafts and like the consistency I'm seeing.
Went for a custom fit today, and had the T350's in my head as the club I thought I'd like the best, but actually felt the Stealth was the better iron. Can't put my finger on it, just sounded and performed better in my swing, which is only a few months into lessons. For me, I'm going to go with the stealth, just seemed to be in sync with my mind\swing. Thanks for the review!
Thanks for the video, something I would like to see is the carry & total distance. I use PXG and have 30° 7 iron, I have found that my roll out distance is hurting me, I don’t have any stopping power when hitting on to the green. Also with your comments about loft, it might be interesting to see a comparison of say the Mizuno 923 Hot metal vs 923 Hot Metal HL and see carry & total distance the loft makes.
No stopping power would equate to lower ball flights + no spin. His your decent angle is around 45 then regardless of what you’re hitting, that should be steep enough to stop rollout. The shaft also is a huge factor. I gifted my brother some stealths and to assist with even better stopping power I put elevate 95 shafts since those are high launching and help generate more spin and come down even steeper.
Currently game T300s, love them, but would be tempted to look at the T350s (if I had the odd £1400 spare lying around…). Love the look and always looking for clubs that will provide max help for my game!
Andy I always enjoy your reviews but a couple of your key T350 7 iron numbers in this test vs the Stealth are significantly different than those posted in your T350 vs G430 test last month - ie your T350 spin rate of 3688 vs 4672 in the G430 comparison and your T350 168 carry in this test compared to a 154 carry against the G430. Any possible explanation?
I am currently gaming the Stealth irons. I loved the value compared to Ping 430 irons when I purchased them. I hit them in the fitting identically. No way I would justify the extra price of the Titleist irons. Price along keeping me with my Stealths.
Hi I had the Stealths for almost 3 seasons and loved them got about 400 rounds with them with original grips so I sold them lol looking at the Qi irons / PXG Black Ops irons / and the Cobra Darkspeed irons any thoughts or advice ? anyone ? thx cheers from Canada
Tested both. Chose the Stealth R graphite shaft for feel, distance and accuracy. T350 are fantastic a close second for me but you cannot go wrong with either one.
Titliest irons with the t350 forged ace would be my choice but I’m sure both are good irons. They are 28 and 29 lofts only 1 degree different. Those T350 spin numbers of 3688 really surprise me because when you compared the T350 to Ping G430 you were getting 4694 rpm spin. Makes no sense to me. 1,000 rpm difference from one test to another??? I’ll have to test them for myself for sure. Could be totally different for me but that confuses me. ua-cam.com/video/OEOFiFu4a4s/v-deo.htmlsi=tE8zgSTKsWWQg8p1
T350 7i loft is 29 degrees not 30.5 degrees (that is the T200) unless I have misread Titleist specs (always possible). Looks wise I prefer the T350s. Performance wise I was expecting very similar results and I was surprised. If you had the same club head speed I think you would have got an extra 2-3 yards of carry from the Stealth. Ultimately I think the on course performance would be better from the Stealth, the extra spin makes it a bit more controllable than the T350s. That does not mean the T350s would be uncontrollable, there is enough descent angle and peak height but probably better suited to a player who wants to land short of the green and let the ball roll on up. The big issue with these types of club is what is the longest iron a player should carry. These provide great help to slower swing golfers but those are also the sort of golfers who need loft to get enough launch. My guess is that most will stop at a 6i, cannot see many wanting a 5i
My new set are t350s 6 thru gw. The gw bridges the pw to my 52 vokey. Also was fitted for tsr1 26 hybrid. It bridges to my 818h1. Very forgiving and high launch with the irons.
How's the ball height of the gap wedge? I saw the loft was 48° and was wondering if the launch was high and the distance was decent for an average swing. I'm looking for about 100 yards from my gap wedge with a decently high launch to stop on the green. My current set of T200's I was slightly disappointed in the gap wedge's ball height & spin, so I switched back to the 48° from my last set. I was considering buying the T350 since I've been reading a lot about it's ball flight
Disappointing that the theme of the comparison seemed to be that the there was a 2.5 degree difference in loft when actually there is 1 degree difference. The Stealth is 28 and the T350 is 29. I’ve played with Stealth for the past year and just switched to the T350. I prefer the T350.
Just felt it would have been presented differently if you had been aware of the true lofts. I love your videos and appreciate your approach but this feel short for me. Maybe I just focused on the error as I pay more attention to your comments/opinions than the data@@TheAverageGolfer
@@TheAverageGolferLoft can be changed. I just ordered T350s and Titleist is actually changing loft for me. Very excited by the fitting process. Some shafts will be "tipped" for me. Given the cost of these clubs, I would highly recommend a proper fitting.
Great review, as always Andy. And so much more relevant than watching some pro or scratch golfer smashing game improvement irons 200 yards!! I have been playing T300 irons for a few years and am weighing up changing to Paradym X but your reviews of T350 have me thinking I might just stick with Titleist and upgrade to the T350. Can’t find anyone who has done a head to head on these two. What sort of performance comparison would you expect between T350 and Paradym X?
Love this review Andy definitely 2 irons I am considering. For me it’s all about the looks and performance. I wonder how many people buying game improvement irons are swayed by sound?
@@TheAverageGolfer Correct me if I’m wrong but the review of the G425 produced consistent dispersion no? I’ve considered the G425 because I need that performance.
Andy your loft numbers are wrong. There is only one degree difference between these clubs, not 2.5°. I don’t know how this could get so misconfigured but anyway the numbers are wrong but the results I would go with the Titleist based on looks and performance. Otherwise the review was OK
I’d like to see clubs like this tested across a range of swing speeds. These might be great at low speeds, but too hot/ inconsistent at higher speeds..?
even my mid handicap arse hitting *strong loft irons* if you hit it properly.. its frankly not an issue. I have yet to not hold a green unless i absolutely thin the shit out of something. Now im playing the sim2 OS... which are even STRONGER lofted than the stealths. The lofts were chosen intentionally. The key point is to get a fitting and hit EVERYTHING. I thought I would like pings offerings at the time (g425)... didnt get along with them as much as expected. I could NOT hit the titleist at all. Had my 7i going something like 120yd. They just did not work for "my" swing. TLDR: Hit every manufacturer you can. Do it at the end of your season. Play a LOT more golf. With my OS set im usually finishing around bogey golf, which is good for me. I used to be worse. But I know how these clubs will react. Best finish so far is 1 over par.. with super game improvement clubs.
I have the stealth’s… They come out considerably lower than my last set of irons but they have some solid spin on all shots and it’s absolutely surprising but it’s absolutely consistent
I don't get the rave about the T350 irons from all the reviewers. Titleist made an iron that performs worse than the predecessor t300, the spin numbers are just way too low for the target audience, they slapped a badge on the cavity and raised the price by €40 per iron.

Hi I’m thinking the same, love my T300s, looking at T350s, haven’t seen a T300 Vs T350 comparison, don’t like the 25% price increase, Dickey
