Excellent tips! A neutral, classic wardrobe makes sense in the same way neutral furniture and walls make sense for your home. It is a lot easier to change out throw pillows and wall art than to change out sofas and paint rooms. If your staple pieces are classic, you can follow trends in the smaller pieces.
I love this video and would like to see you all continue a series on classic fashion. I enjoy trends and will add small and affordable trendy items into my wardrobe. However, I would much rather put the bulk of my fashion budget into classic pieces! Thanks again and hope to see more!
I'm so glad you covered this topic! As I'm cleaning out my closet (thanks to your last video!) I'm noticing it's all the trendy stuff I'm so ready to let go of. I love the idea of more neutrals and a structured handbag especially. Thanks as always, ladies! 💜
Fantastic video ladies!!! Can't wait to see more videos exploring how to put together complimentary colours and maybe a look book? This is definitely how I prefer to dress now as a mid 40's lady and also I don't need to spend a lot of money each season to update my wardrobe! Thank you!
Helpful and fun! I do try to always have a dressy red / burgundy top to take me through Christmas and Valentine’s Day. You MIGHT have me convinced to try a structured handbag. I do love my hobo bag.
I love your new series on classic styles! Thank you for the wonderful examples too. I really enjoyed the silhouette and body shape tips. Id love more information on that topic, how to build a classic wardrobe for each body type would be very helpful!
I personally am a fan of the hobo bag. Some years it’s more slouchy than others. I think the roundness wears better than the sharp corners and is more forgiving in crowded places - school hallways, trains, buses, planes, etc.
When I think of a classic timeless wardrobe, I think of Grace in the Grace and Frankie series, the character played by Jane Fonda. While this may be familiar to an older crowd than most of your viewers, the bones of a classic wardrobe knows no age boundaries. You can add your personal flair to your timeless wardrobe which will keep it appropriate for your age group. Now Frankie on the other hand gives a great boho vibe in her wardrobe choices on the show. Great content ladies. Thank you for your hard work.
In the words of Forrest. Classic is as classic does. I love classic and I definitely try to do classic but I have come to the conclusion that I am a trendy girl. I love the prints and the bold colors and I mix the classic with the prints. I can't help it. I got it from my mama. She dressed to get noticed and I have to say I like to get that too.
I LOVE classic clothing styles and a lot of times on youtube I see more videos of what’s trending than what’s classic and timeless. Thanks so much for sharing all the tips with us. 👍🏼
A video on different hat styles would be awesome. So many people think hats don't flatter them. You could feature some classic baseball caps, beanies, sun hats, seasonal hats...
Looking in my closet, I must be a classic kind of person. I don’t have many prints in my closet. Well, I do have a few tie dye shirts, and those are staying. I do need to find a pair of loafers. I’ve been looking but I haven’t found any I really like. I loved this video. It’s my kind of style. Other than my tie dyes, which I know are out. But I’m still wearing them.
I like the classic fitted jean but I always wear an oversized top with them. Is it possible to include in one of your videos how to minimize a large bust line with certain styles. Thanks so much for another helpful video !🇨🇦💕
You ladies never cease to amaze me with your content and how well it all falls into place. I would love to know how you decided to do this and some of the in's and out's of starting a channel. I'm really getting off topic here, but I would like to know a bit about Kelli's haircut. Is it asymmetrical (layer-wise)? It's so stylish and always looks amazing! Christina, yours does too, but I'm a blonde so you can see why I'm interested in Kelli's hair. You are both BEAUTIFUL!!!!! XOXO
Thanks so much for your kind words Tammie. So happy you enjoyed this video. We know lots of women love classic dressing especially when they are trying to limit their purchases so we decided to do a series on it. As for my haircut, I'm trying to grow it out long but with layers. I'm not exactly what to call it I just bring Pinterest pics to my stylist and say ok I want this. lol!
I am of the age that always matched the shoes and purse. I want to branch out of this. Please show outfits with unmatched but look good together shoes and purses. Just saw in this video black heels and cognac purse. Is that really a good look? . So confused.
Yes, that can be tricky. Nothing wrong with matching but complimentary colors can be great too. Neutrals really work well together so it's easily to mix and match them.
just want to say thanks i love ye're videos ... all my kids are in school know and I'm taking a bit of time to dress nicer your videos really help ... people have started to say i look younger hahahahahahaha .... that's a good sign
Can you do a video on some more adventurous fashion classics? For example, leather wardrobe pieces ( jackets, skirts, etc), classic plaid items, converse/doc martens, vintage tee shirts...items that are not tailored classics, but are classic in their own way.
I stay with black, as my primary color. Black matches Black. Brown's come in too many shades. I love chocolate brown, but I have to be careful. Neutral works if you buy your items in the season, of a certain yr. As well as, cobalt blue. Or Red item's, Green, Pink, ALL color's are tricky when you are buying over yrs.
Yes! We definitely agree
Awesome video. Reminding us to stay classic and not jump on every trend. Adding a trend but not everything has to be all the new trends.
Neutral and classic pieces make packing for a trip easy to mix and match! Thank you for the tips!
You bet!
Maybe a part 2 with some classic link pieces. Love your help and style👍😘thank you
Love this idea!
Classic style forever!
👍🏻😃Classics + 2022 trends combined is what I’m looking forward to
Absolutely!
Great tips ladies, thank you for sharing ❤
I think polka dots and stripes are the exception to the rule of no patterns!
They can definitely work with the classics as can a simple gingham or plaid.
I love this video and would like to see you all continue a series on classic fashion. I enjoy trends and will add small and affordable trendy items into my wardrobe. However, I would much rather put the bulk of my fashion budget into classic pieces! Thanks again and hope to see more!
Absolutely!
I can’t tell you how much I look forward to your videos! Keep up the good work. 💛
Thanks so much!
Just love this thank you

I’m with you! I love the classics but I can’t resist a beautiful print or bold color or trend either. Nothing wrong with having a mix👍🏻
Thank you for these wonderful tips, ladies. You look so pretty and fresh as always. 🌹🌹

Hi ladies Happy New year. How about doing a video on shopping your closet , recreating todays look with apparel you already have.
Great idea!!
I'm not here for "classic and timeless" 😄, but for the Ladies who are, it's a real great video!
Thank you! ☺️

Perhaps include ways to pair these items WITH the tailored classics mentioned in this video.
Great idea!
