This drama is hilarious!
I do really like these back to the 80s plots when the couple works together. This one felt more like her working alone despite him wanting to help. That was disappointing. There are at least two others that have the couple working together and which show their love growing, and those I liked.
Also, I’m going to be honest and admit that things placed in this time period aren’t my favourite. I come to videos to be distracted and forget about real life for an hour or two. When shows are dusty and untidy I don’t feel relieved. 100% my problem I know.

Such an entertaining drama. Both leads acted well. Wang Daotie is so cute when bashful and the FL portrayed successfully a bold, resourceful, modern woman. The drama had a laid back vibe befitting the 1980s, in which the drama was set. Lovely ending too.

One of my favorite back to the 80's dramas. FL fits this type of role always. I've seen her play another drama with this type of transmigration and she did so well in that too. ML is a good actor and hot as hell🥰..... 10/10💗
