Emily needs to do a follow up video, what I learned from Glynn and his dad 😂
Great video Glyn I had to laugh Darragh driving into poor Charlie 🤣🤣👌
Gallagher solar fences are excellent,,, serious power and reliability... they're not cheap..but well woth it ....... Gallagher or elephant mains fencers are also excellent.....
Love the videos, fair play!
Thank you & I love your sons hair bless him , & his new tractor 🚜 better & faster & cleaner than his grandad’s old tractor 😂❤❤
That was too cute, Darragh drives (and crashes) just like your da 😅
😆😆, he ploughed into the dog. Brilliant.

He will be cutting silage, carrying bales to the sheep he will be doing all that stuff great videos Glyn and in one of the clips you were loading lambs and talking to Emily a ewe was running behind ye if you go into the kerry agribusiness kenmare there are great fencing batterys we use them for are dairy cows there mighty things
Great video Glyn keep them up Glyn boy.
Appreciate the comment, Glad you enjoyed the video. hopefully he will
Emily is a great helper
Great video Glynn, still busy lambing. Great to see the kids enjoying themselves and weather picking up. Enjoyed watching. 👍🏼👍🏼
Wonderful new tractor for your little Darragh. He is great fun. Grandad is very kind to him.❤️❤️❤️❤️
And Darragh never gave Charlie a second thought 😂😂 excellent video lads ! Darragh is priceless on the tractor ! Congratulations on your new wheels little man 🎉🎉🚜🚜
Just love your videos, you’d father is so funny bless him, both hard working men 👏👏👏 & love your working dogs too
Absolutely love seeing your kids on the farm!!! Thank you it makes my day!
Oaten straw under sheep a complete disaster for roping. Barley straw not too bad.Wheaten straw wont rope around their legs.
Never happened with small square bales as the straw was well chopped. All the best with lambing.
From Paddy in Wicklow.
I've used both Premier 1 solar electric netting fence and Gallagher's poly braid rope with success for cattle. I prefer the braid as even a single line, nose high, keeps mine in... except for one asshole steer. Fecking bottle calf originally that will soon be moving on to a cooler climate.
Glyn, Darragh and Clare are ADORABLE!! God Bless them! Emily will be sorely missed as she was a great help! Your dad was straight on about why it is still raining hard ….lovely to see the sun, hope it stays!

ooh its lovely!
that was the cuties🤣🤣🤣🥰🥰🥰🥰
Time for Granda to retire, theres a new young farmer right there ready to fill his shoes, lol. You are such a hard working, close knit family, this one made me chuckle aloud :)
Going to miss Emily the poor girl defo needs a break id say 😅Best of Luck Emily 🥰🥰
Great video and content 👍 your wee yins are adorable 🥰 aww poor Charlie 🙃
Have a lovely day Guys ❤
Great video. Hope the weather cooperates more. The kids will have great fun with the tractor.
Charlie would also like to report a hit and run.
Unless you are willing to do surgical drainage of the spine and high doses of antibiotic, no hope for a swayback lamb, sorry. Soil testing for pH above 7.5 is a good preventative. Nice job with the new tractor! Beautiful footage of the little ones! :D
We've a Cheetah solar fencer here the last 3 years doing sucklers...couldn't fault it.
Great videos btw.👍
Hope the weather keeps getting better.
Fair play to grandad for finding the right gears!!🤔 I’m in wales but have a niece in Clonakilty, we travelled your area a few years back can’t wait to come again.
Well lads had same problem with straw wrapped around ewes legs used to use barley straw started using wheaten straw breaks up and spreads out no bother and no hassle with straw ropes.. good look with new tractor 🚜 Paul Meath..
For sway back, selenium and betamox should do the trick. Could also be a spinal abscess which antibiotics would do the job aswell - always best to check with the vet though :)
Good stuff
The kids are going to have great fun in the tractor as long as your dad doesn’t take a liking to it. 😂😂
Cheta Battery Fencer , can’t go wrong, made in Carlow and there sound to deal with 👍🏼😀
If you use chopped straw it won't gather round their feet like that. great the weather improved a bit, you have some amount of ewes to lamb.
I thought you bought a big fancy new tractor when I seen the video pop up!
first of all id like to say im a huge fan .i was wondering glen is your mother still alive and have u many brothers and sisters yourself
Cheetah is definitely the best battery fencing
You can get you a mobile fence were you can move the fence around its like the plastic electrical fence also the get solar powered electric plastic fence
If she’s not blue, she won’t do
Get chopped bales off straw . Not cheap but them making straw rope around there legs do yer head in. They also last a bit longer
PEL fencers . Battery and solar by far the best and not overpriced
Best thing is ring farm relief in castleisland they will sort u out and tell u what the best one is lad
Forcefield very good fences
Put down 3 to 4 earth rods
Where did you winter the cattle? Cheetah fencers highly recommended, have been using them the last 20 years.
Gallagher expensive but worth it
Cheetah all the way for electric fences. Neighbours had a mains powered one about 30yrs old that stopped working and they took it back and gave it a full refurb free of charge.
When he tried to return the replacement they gave him while the old one was being refurbished they let him keep that too. Some service.
Battery fencer there not cheap cheta best one
Gallagher and Parmark are serving me well
He’s still a better driver than his grandfather
If you are moving fences around look at Rappa bike mounted fencers there are you tube videos on how they work second to none for speed!
Yes I've had it to she probably does cos she won't let the lambs suck
If he was tail docked it could be an ascending meningitis. It would be unusual just to have one with swayback. Is your land copper deficient? The children are having a great time. I hope Charlie is quick to get out of the way in future.
We have had 5 come in this year with a similar problem. I wondered swayback. Tails are not docked and all were lambed outside. We have lambed 1540 ewes this year so it is a very small % that are affected. Only one has survived so far as cades. He is lame but can walk and feed.
It happened here regularly
Would recommended to put a creep feeder in for the lambs so the lambs don’t take to much of a toll on the hogs
what's the spot on for
Put your Suffolk on the mules
All ya need now is a loader .
A least the weather has taken up . A month late but better late than never.
And they say there’s no money about? Never seen a poor farmer yet.
They seem to get all the big 4x4 vehicles. Which they don’t look after. Nice big cars. Which always seems to need a wash. Nice gig quad bikes etc. the old farmers used to have to walk over the stretching fields to tend and feed the animals. Good old days
You shook consider shelterbelt hedge stragetically planted for shelter
Engimysin or streptapen
and imagine more people watch those Kardashian @(;". I look forward to yer show s
Gallagher solar fencers are best , a bit dear but last longer..
All the best with new tractor 😉😉
👍👍🤙🤙
Solar way to go save you buy batteries and charging
What do you mean by mule lambs? To me a mule is the product of a donkey breeding a horse so not sure what the meaning of mule is with Irish and Scotish sheep ranchers
Your use of blasphemy is a bad example for children and a sign of lack if respect for the Holy Name on your part. Change to SAINT PATRICK!!
Says John "Don't record that" when the ewe leaped over the barrier into the next pen. I tell you, Boys, for all the licence fees in the world, RTÉ never produced quality content like ye. I couldn't be without this channel!
