This guy is what Malachi Corley has been hyped to be (according to PFF, he led the nation in forced missed tackles). Except he's better at actually running routes like a receiver than Corley. I don be mean to sound like a corner hater (I'm not at all), I just think Washington deserves WAY more hype than he's been getting.
@@bengalselite9588 I wouldn't necessarily say you're wrong, but consider this shocking stat. One of these guys forced 15 missed tackles last year and the other guy tripled him with 35. Guess which guy had 35. Nope, it wasn't Corley. Additionally, Washington can actually run real routes. He's not just a screen guy. He'll even go up and get it. Despite being super short, his vertical is in the 99th percentile!!! He's got super reliable hands too. Currently Corley needs a LOT of development before he can be used as an actual wide receiver. Washington is already there. Who has the higher upside? Couldn't tell you, I'm not a scout. But receivers are notoriously hit and miss even for the experts. All I know is that, to my eyes and brain, Washington seems to bring a lot more of a complete prospect package to the table. Is he the YAC King? Maybe not. But I'd argue that's because he can do so much more than just screen and YAC, screen and YAC, all day long.
Slid all the way to the 6th because of his height but he had great contested catch ability and had a 43 inch vertical so don't seem like his size affected him much. If you took 3-4 inches off of his vertical and added those to his height he'd be a second rounder.
Y’all worried about the speed too much this guy reminds me of a smaller Jarvis Landry more than tyreek hill he ran a 4.47 Jarvis Landry ran a 4.77 and was successful also I feel like he one of them guys that can stick around the league for a long time.
🙋🏻♂️sup L.T. Bama Basketball 🏀 plays Tennessee tomorrow. Should be a good game. Also, Bamas Baseball ⚾️ team is 8-0! But, I’m sure I’m telling you stuff you already know. 🤷🏻♂️ By the way the Video is 🔥 just like all the rest of the Videos!
For a tiny little guy you think he's going to be close to Tyreek speed. There are defensive ends that run faster. He runs closer to a 4.5 than a 4.4 he's definitely going to be a bust for the dolphins.
I'll never understand why wide receiver highlights never include pass blocking or run blocking...that's a very important part of the nfl offenses these days and need to be added as a part of the highlight reels
@evansdarien5125 yes...I get it...and those should be shown as well but let's squeeze some other components like run block or pass block or the ability to run routes and beat zone coverages and come back to the football...just the small things that NFL teams look for...the pass catching and the athleticism to out jump your defender and have great hands is of course important as well
Elite hands, speed and concentration when the ball is in the air....welcome to miami!!!!!!

I agree I was thinking that the whole time. Great hands too this guys a gem.
Malachi seems noticeably faster but I don’t know what they have for 40 times
His Yac yardage doesn’t come close to Corleys tho . I like Malik but he’s nowhere near as physical as Corley is. He’s Still a really solid pick tho

Too bad he almost ran a 4.5 😅

Future Chief
Looks like a shorter Deebo Samuel.
I think that was what they were going for. Same coaching line

Combine speed different than game speed
Combine is pointless
Steve smith ram the same time
Your logic is anyone not running a 4.4 or faster will be a bust?!?! C’mon bruh…
had he weaker opponent or why he is not a top 5 WR prospect?
This is a very deep wide receiver class
Cuz he's slow as f*** he almost runs a 4.5
Yea the 40 time holds a lot of weight
I don't see the acceleration
He has good acceleration, just not great speed.
He's slow as f*** he almost runs a 4.5
@@jonathancrosby9896DEs run faster
He just quick he don’t have speed
Small, quick. TOUGH af… Wandale Robinson vibes
Agreed without Wandale’s speed n twitch . Solid WR but I’d rather have Wandale
Slow
Get him niners

Yes but the highlights are to display his athleticism, catching and running with the football

@@daleconoI think you gotta watch his videos on specific teams he played like Malik Washington vs “Team A”
