Hi Barb & Gabby! I just wanted to let you and your group know how much I enjoy and appreciate your videos. Not to mention all the research and hard work you and your partners put into this amazing elusive creature. I subscribed only a short time ago and I'm hooked! Thank you very much and keep up the great work!
Aawww dats so cute they brought the lid back to you to bring back peanut butter. I believe their out there i have bigfoot prints o found righy behind my sisters house last year July 2015. Right by the dining room window . but thats cute giving you a hint he wants peanut butter..
I love hearing them, I have only heard one one time and it was so close that it made the hair on my neck stand up. Wished I could go back and see if I could hear it again.
I would never go hiking without my Great Pyrenees! We had an experience in the Boise National Forest last month. Tree knocking on the trail,. The next morning, a wolf pack. Denali kept us safe. Dogs just know.
Smart Ladies!! I've heard another story about a man who was sitting outside his camper smoking a pipe with sweet tobacco. And there was alot of activity around his camper that night, and knocking and noise broken trees, etc. They seemed to love the sweet tobacco aroma of a woody fire. I was thinking food would really excite them - even bbq meat! :)
Gday Barb, thankyou for another magical tour through your research area, that was just amazing, a little unnerving at the end but still terrific. I feel very privileged to be having this shared with me as I,m sure others are as well. tell sandy to stop holding out on the peanut butter mmm peanut butter, bazz
Very interesting indeed. I live up North of ya near OSO, WA just down from the landslide area. I have seen and heard many strange goings on as well as really bad stench's near the edge of the river. Be safe.
Wow Barb, the vocals were really cool! You just don't know how badly I wish I could hear something like that when I'm out there with you! One of these times!...thanks for sharing & giving me the next best thing to it! Shame it wasn't also caught on the audio recorder but I just know those recorders are going to pay off big one day. We just have to be patient & persistent. I know you set the recorders to voice-activation mode. In this mode, do we know if the recorders turn themselves "off" after going for a set period of time without a sound to activate it? Anything in the instructions about that? Anyway, another great video! And I'm also digging the 2 videos prior to this one! You're making me impatient for May when I can be back out there with you all, once again!
Hi Larry! It was soooo cool! Don't worry, your day will come! :) No, they shouldn't turn turn off, unless the button is pushed or the batteries die. Some times, when they aren't turned off, there will be as much as 10 hours of rain, off and on, recorded. We have turned off the background noise cancellation. That seems to work better. Now, if only the rain would dry up! I am no longer switching the packages, only the recorder inside. I'm hoping that will make them less noticeable and hopefully, they will loose interest in them. Fingers crossed! May is coming! It will be here before you know it! :)
Hi Barb, I SOOOOOO love your videos, look at 3.30 just as you say "whats up Gabby" top RH corner, could just be a very human looking tree stump?? but its the area where Gabby keeps looking?...I check every day to see what you have all been up to, keep up the good work. I so wish I lived somewhere like yours...most we have is dangerous looking sheep!! (Yorkshire, England) xxx
Ohmygosh! FLUFF (marshmallow cream) great idea!!! Love Sam's Tree Knocker shirt!! If those sounds were dog/wolf , , wouldn't Gabby have reacted? She seems very intuitive to critters!
Hi flamedancer! We don't have any wolves here, but a coyote or another dog, would have made Gabby go NUTS! She wasn't too concerned about it, until we were passing through the dense part of the forest, near where the sounds were coming from. On the way out and coming back. :)
FYI - I have a Gopro camera which I take on my my bike rides. It has a mode where you can have it take a photo at various intervals up to 1 minute. Very simple, only has two buttons. Depending on your memory card and battery pack life, it could take photos for several days. The camera itself is only 2" x 1.5" x 0.75" so could be hidden in just about anything and only the lens need to be exposed and that is only 0.5" in diameter in size. Someone with woodworking skills could even hollow out a section of a log that it could be put into. Or something like a bird house that could be nailed to tree and locked shut. Has wide field of view so could be put 10+' away from the gifting area.
Very Interesting test. I appreciate the investigative efforts. And it's all insightful. I have yet to see or hear any of them in the northern New England states, but one day I'm sure I will. :)
Really like your videos, thanks for sharing. I'm jealous of your cabin in the woods. Food ideas, have you ever left carrots, onions or potatoes ? Just a thought . Probably be cheaper than pies and peanut butter all the time. Keep up the good work & I'll keep watching .
Thank you, WH! And you are very welcome! We have left vegetables before. Carrots, potatoes, spinach, tomatoes, garlic... They other than mashing the tomatoes, they showed no interest. :)
awesome video chilling vocals I be scared but amazed at the same time, they say there is a distant smell in the air during bigfoot sighting have you guys ever noticed it , I am becoming a believer through your videos :)
Thank you, Angela! Every now and then, there is a funky smell around the swamp, but I have never noticed any odors that I could say were from the bigfoots. I think the odor, that is sometimes reported, is probably stress related. Although, I have heard that the females have a cinnamon type of odor. :)
why don't you have a drone in your hand ready to go and the second you hear a sound, start it and fly up and around in the direction of the sound? you'll catch way more ground that way.
Thank you so much. I always look forward to watching when I see an alert that you have posted again. I would definitely think they were saying...........where's the peanut butter???? Here is a clue :) What I was wondering is whether it is your opinion that these forest people seem to prefer cool temperate to snowy climates? Even in Australia they seem to like the mountainous, cooler climates. Just wondering what your thoughts were on this?
You are very welcome, Fliss! I think they would enjoy pleasant weather as much as we do. But, I don't think temperature is why they live at high elevations. I think that thick woods, water and a steady food source are more likely to influence where they live. Whether it's up high in the mountains, along coastal beaches, or anywhere in between. :)
I saw & heard a sasquatch - both a vocal call & other noises - 2 days ago while camping in San Jacinto at the Msrion Mountain campground. I am not a "bigfoot" hunter/aficionado/seeker, although I have always believed that they exist. Further, I had no knowledge of the sounds, calls & behavior exhibited, until I Googled it today, then searched sasquatch/bigfoot recordings on UA-cam. Interestingly, not only did I see him/her & hear a call around dusk, but as I was returning to the tent after a 2am trip to the nasty pit toilets to tinkle, I heard several sounds which resembled sticks & rocks banging together (another behavior I knew nothing about until a few minutes ago). For whatever reason, he/she seemed to be specifically interested in me. I wonder if it's because I'm known as a sort of Dr. Doolittle to my friends & family; animals & even insects seem to respond to me in unusually favorable ways. For instance, when there's a fly in the house, I talk to it for awhile, explaining that they're safe with me & that I'll gladly take them outside (but that the other people & animals aren't safe). They will almost always land on my outstretched hand/arm & allow me to give them a ride out the door. The same happens with ants, except that they generally leave on their own, rather than me escorting them. Nobody believes it, until they see it with their own eyes. I also refuse to kill an insect under any circumstances (even the ones I'm afraid of). I wonder if he/she sensed that about me? In any case, I feel fortunate to have had that experience!
I find this very interesting and you're seeing what they like and what they don't like and if they open jars or don't open jars and just how intelligent they really are or aren't
Up where she’s at when the big guys are around everything goes silent. No birds, squirrels, and even the bugs go quiet. It is like everything can feel the malevolence in the air...
Thanks for posting your walk up the trail (don't fall though). You live in such a beautiful place. Run a test at your home with one of the recorders and see if it turns off there.
Barb this may be a repeat question and I'm sorry if it is but what are your thoughts on the recorders getting shut off? Also what state are you located in if you can say? Thank you James
Hi there! I think there is definitely something strange happening with the recorders and I believe the Bigfoots have something to do with it. But, not really knowing, all we can do is speculate. We are in Washington state. :)

THE 2 OLD GUYS SHOW I didn't get your message, Leon. Nothing in the inbox. Yes, we have a trail cam set up at the cabin. We had two in the woods. Both stopped working soon after they were put out. That's ok. When I get a good picture of a bigfoot, it will be on my pod, with me present, when they allow me the opportunity. :)
Hey Barb, I love how your not arrogant with your videos and I love how you're not pretending that you're talking to me like some of your Co video people. But I wanted to suggest that you Leave A Blanket for Bigfoot. Not a new on but a old one dirty but not wet. Thanks I'll be watching you videos. Glynis
Enjoy watching your work Barb! I was curious if you have watched the video documentary from user FirAndCedar "Speaking of Sasquatch" based on Mike Pattersons work? If so whats your opinion of his work based on your local interactions?
OMG! That branch hit the camera and scared the bee-jeezuz out of me! LOL! Nice vocals you guys caught there, really sounded like a "voice". Love how Gabby is your "radar" for freaky things going on in the woods!
Hi Missy! Pretty cool, huh? Sorry about the branch. lol! I got your email, but, for some reason, Google won't let me reply to it. As for the weather, it never gets too hot or too cold. When it is nice, it is really nice! Downside is the rain. It doesn't rain ALL the time. And it rarely rains hard. But we can be wet for some long stretches. :/

My people are the Odewa or aka Ottawa people from manitoulin island, Canada. The oral teaching talked of a man that was beastly looking; but seemed as though he was one of them. When we go out in the woods to fast for four days and four nights with no food no water no communication with anyone; he watches us. His job is to make sure we’re safe because he is a Wiindigo. They say to never say his name because if you do, you’re calling him. He is “friendly” in a sense because he makes sure anyone in the woods with a pure heat and good intentions are safe. He watches over you. If you seek him, it angers the being. That’s the my people’s look at him anyways.
where? and it figures that she doesn't even take any cues from the dog at all,the dog obviously looks at something with interest, and what does she do? she turns off the camera..Such a genieass.just like most of these so called bigfoot researchers..ha ha sure you are, more like some person who wants to see something but has zero knowledge on how exactly to do that.
I agree, and they need a little better camera work... we seem to keep watching where they’re walking? Ground views won’t catch anything... imo... 🤷🏽♂️
That's one very clean peanut butter jar!!!! You ever tried to get aaaaalllll the peanut butter out! Even a the squatches giant dick beaters can't do it😁
It's funny how quiet the dog is. He senses something. He's so cute.
Love your dog....remember if the dog senses something and stops won't go forward, that usually means what's ahead isn't friendly. Stay safe my friend.

That’s a human condition.
