Fun fact: episode 99 Mereo-sama’s fight was suppose to be a good ep as well and have great art and animation (that fight along with Licht vs Asta and Yuno we’re both in opening 8). Mereo wasn’t done justice unfortunately. her fight was a HUGE moment in the manga as well. We went in with high expectations cuz opening 8 showed it and it’s mereo she is the fan fav. Very very disappointing in the end, the anime community was in an uproar after episode 99 it was insane.

Exactly! Mereleona vs the 5 elfs was WAY better in the manga. The anime didnt do her fight any justice whatsoever smh but I'm glad they did episode 100 some justice. Each episode deserves to this, Black Clover is an amazing series!

@@StruckByBelz If you do wanna check out the manga, the Mereo vs Five Elves fight spans chapter 152-153. They both contain just the epic fight and nothing else spoilery for you guys. Those chapters are fire ! You will fully realize how the anime didn't do justice to Mereo in Ep-99, but it's all good. We need to appreciate Black Clover anime for what it is, in it's ups and it's downs.

Great reaction guys. I'm glad y'all enjoyed this episode! Episodes like these wouldn't be possible for this series without the director and his passionate team pouring in all of their efforts despite how little time they have(if they're doing this with a weekly series, could you imagie if they had the schedule of a seasonal series? Whew). All in all this episode surpassed the manga and had me jumping out of my seat! Can't wait for y'all to see the next two or three major character moments. They're definitely some of the best in the series.
Or they could just drop Boruto. If they did both, then Black Clover would most likely have MHA animation.

WiseGaines regardless of fights black clover as whole is awesome what people give it slack for is the animation that lacks in some parts and how they compare it to Naruto which is really annoying.

Easily one of my top 5 anime episodes ever... And we're not even at the final battle.
So I took the time to watch all of Demon Slayer that same week and while I like BC 100 more still, wow 19 is so powerful and im really excited for the series... By 100 it will easily be more epic than BC. My 5yo loves the Nezuko design and while she doesnt watch the series yet (besides snippets a bit too dark, though she keeps asking me to let her) She wants to Cosplay as Nezuko while I cosplay as Tanjiro and carry her around in a box on my back lol .

The Black Clover fights gets better and better in terms of animation. 63 to 84 to 92 to 100 each is an a improvement to the previous.

The thing about Yuno and possibly being Licht's son is that Licht's son was just a baby when the elves were wiped out. He wouldn't have the resentment/grudge against the humans like the other elves do. As far as I see it the soul in Yuno, if it is Licht's son, only knows one life, Yuno's life. They're basically the same person and Yuno awakening is just a power boost rather than his body being taken over.
