What impressed me the MOST, is your patience with the young girl. Allowing her to interact with you . I do the same with the young ones.
    God Bless
Thanks for the wealth of knowledge

Finally I found something interesting to learn about! I love birds, and I love feeding them :) usually I make homemade food, and they eat it all in one day! Thanks for the video, made my day.

Did you provide the names of the bird feeders in video anywhere? I'd like to buy a few. Thanks for the videos. The food / seed choices and "the right kind of feeders" was particularly interesting. Wondering what you think of safflower seeds? I just bought a large bag upon recommendation of a bird supply site.

Just caught this.. i live in the Cotswolds and regularly put out food but we have hundreds of Starlings that bully and harass all the desirable smaller birds that we like to see. The Starlings fight and scream at eachother so much that having the windows open can be awful .. any thoughts on how to deter them and encourage the lovely species ?

ghayath2011 give them to ducks, but any bird smaller then that size wont eat it or it will be bad for them. But its great for geese, ducks and so on

    • @IanPhillipsWildlife

Bread is not good for ducks (or any birds) it has no real nutritional value and can cause health problems.

I wish you could get councils to clean up our park lakes. This year someone poured oil on swans and all six baby’s died this was because of man made none flying white farm geese daddy swan was pecking at them. It’s so stressful but council will not remove them and people think they are more important than our native wildlife this is not good for children and cruel for geese 😱help 🙏🦢🙏
