No angry eye grille. No rubber duckies. No silly color-matching hinge covers or themes. Just a guy and a solid, well-loved and well-used Jeep, using it for its intended purpose. LOVE seeing Orangie back on the trail!
I really hope you take note of the comments on this video Chris…..this really is why most people watch and subscribe to your channel, me included. It’s great t9 see one of these videos again, I’ve really missed them having watched the channel since you moved out of your home.
Not gonna lie, i liked this channel a whole lot more back when it was just you and that jeep. I couldn't wait from week to week where you and Orangie were gonna end up. It inspired my own solo trips that i love to this day.
I’m so glad to see Orangie out on adventures. There’s something special about seeing a well built Jeep out on trails. There is no other vehicle that captures my adventure spirit.
YES! The Jeep is back, and so is this viewer :D The lovely orange Jeep is why I started watching in the first place, back when I was looking to buy one.
Let me just say how much this video brought a smile to my face. My Saturday morning routine for several years was to wake up, make some coffee, and enjoy watch you and Orangie out exploring. I had forgotten just how much I enjoyed it. Thank you Chris! Safe travels and many more adventures!
Thank you for bring Orangie out of retirement. That jeep made the show all these years. Fixing up her small problems and going in her again is awesome. Thanks again. God Bless in all things.
Chris - I have to admit that I started watching your channel because of your jeep adventures. I have a two door JK. It's my daily driver but I also take it off-road for camping. and I've always enjoyed picking up tips from your adventures and just the excitement of new places to explore! Nice to see Orangie back!!
People don’t like change. I must admit I miss the way things were with your channel. However, that couldn’t go on interminably and I am happy for you and Shannon. Change is important and necessary. Dwelling on the way things used to be only promotes stagnation. I am excited to see what this new chapter brings for your channel. It seems like an opportunity to try something new and different. Cheers from Utah!
Chris, it's so good to watch you out and about in your Orange jeep...👍 The last time I saw you on the trail in your Orange Jeep was in Dorset, Vermont you passed me on a trail up to Dorset Caves. I was the guy waving hard in the Green JK. Your videos are still sooo fun to watch. Safe travels and what ever vehicle you are in..more power to you....👍
I miss this long form content of you and orangie. 3 years been following your adventure. Been alienated lately with the 6 minute videos. Must be for the algorithm. Thank you for for the adventures.
Man… I didn’t realize how much I had missed seeing you out in this Jeep! Love it! Glad to hear and see you are still at it! Plus I know those washboards were a lot worse in person… and to know you are out doing your thing, staging it with all the cameras and go-pros and made it look easy while solo. You rock, Bud! Keep doing what you do!
Love the grilled cheese sandwich, the shot of Rubicon at 0:48, "as luck would have it, all of are vehicles need tires" and the gear noise from the transfer case. Thank you Chris for sharing your adventures with us.
Hey Chris, this brought back memories. As others have said, these old videos with the Jeep were what inspired me to take my van out on offroad adventures. Like most of us, my life had changes and my needs were different, so I have been homebound for awhile. Thanks for this one.
Morning Chris, I completely understand how you’re feeling about Orangie, he’s an old pal that’s been there for you no mater what… They say if you want to grow you must go beyond your comfort zone, however I’m not so sure that applies to vehicles. If it works why change it… I’ve got some memories of my past vehicles as well, and I wish I had some of them back. Orangie works, there’s no reason to change. Stay safe, enjoy your Valentine.
This was awesome Chris! Thanks for the great Jeep porn! My Jeep ( Firecracker) lives vicariously through your Jeep ( Orangie). The footage of your Jeep walking through the bush is inspiring. Thanks!
I’m excited to see more of Orangie again. I’ve been watching since 2019 and went back and watched from episode 1. As a Jeep owner myself, I know I’m biased, but I really enjoy the feel of adventure watching you take her places many can’t get to. Maybe even when you push your level of comfort with obstacles a few times over the years! 😁 I’d like to see more collaboration with small channels and meet new enthusiasts on your travels!
Finally, I appreciate your level of detail when you maintain/upgrade the Jeep. I will enjoy the next few videos very much. Giving back to the Machine that started it all!
Your right, we missed Orangy. Its great to see her again. Ya, you have a list of comments... But it still looks great. It's amazing to think if the life it has led, and its still on the trail today ... With a few (to be expected) wear and tear issues. Some mighty fine driving up those rutts! They looked big on video ... Which means they were REALLY big in real life.
Heeee's back!!! I must admit, shamefully, that I unsubscribed a while ago as I thought your channel had pretty much died and I don't think you did a video explaining what was going on, as all your uploads were just reuploads of older trips you had done, but I'm glad you're back to the good ol' days of parking up in Orange. It's great to see the old Jeep is up and running again. Look forward to more content from you again in the coming months as I've subscribed again. Take care and all the very best.
Awesome, first video of yours I've watched in awhile, sorry. Hope to see more. Have to go back and see if I missed any Orangie videos. Not getting notifications for some reason.
That pretty impressive how well you kept up with it that’s your pride and joy now it’s time to treat it baby it or upgrade to something else 🤙🏾good luck I’ve been watching you for the past three years and you inspire me to start Overlanding thanks 🙏
Good to see Orangie back on the trails again. Been watching since the Jeep rolled on the side. We have the Jeep back out, now we need Shannon in the adventures again. She can drive the Jeep Chris can take the Defender. CHEERS from Colorado
Yeah, it's pretty good. Chris, I'm back up and gone for a while. Just let you go. You were getting to be the same thing all the time and I figured well. I'll just stop watching you and see what happens. So I found you again. So far so good and I followed you when you did your trip all through Canada. That was good and when you tipped over and come back that was interesting 👍👍🙂🇨🇦
Chris, if you are considering re-springing orangie and using the AEV suspension product, you might consider their heavier duty spring set for vehicles that are slightly overloaded. I also added a spring arc correction plate to the front and that will straighten your front springs and prevent them from bulging outward and providing a more linear compression. This is worked out well on my overweight Gladiator. I hope it works for you should you consider doing the same. 🤙🏼
Chris, it’s great to see you back in your jeep! i’ve been a subscriber to you since you had your jeep worked on with OK 4wd, they loaned you one of the alu cab campers on a Toyota Tacoma truck while your truck was in the shop being worked on, I’ve been subscribed since then and it’s great to honestly see you back in your jeep more of what over landing to me is like I’m not a big fan of those vans. Most overlanders are buying today instead of buying a jeep, four wheel camper or Alu Cab camper to me that’s Overlanding good job Chris keep up the great work with orangey! LOL!!! Like the name, Looking forward to see more adventures with you and orangey first time ever staying a response to you. Thanks but no matter what I will still stay subscribed to your videos. I enjoy the effort and work you do on your videos. Thanks Chris see you on the next video
I had the AEV lift on my JK and after 50,000 miles I switched over to Falcon 2.0 shocks. That was a massive improvement in the ride and handling of the JK, both on and off road. For a new adventure - have you gone from Mammoth to Wilcox on the Rug Road to Klondyke Road trail? It is an over night trail with some amazing scenery and wildlife. It can be done in either the Jeep or the pickup truck.
Love your vids? I'm going to get a Jeep in the next 12 months, for car camping but not rocky-climbing. Which model do you suggest I look at? Used or new, too. I will be going modular in the back of the jeep, not adding a bedroom on top. Thank you!
The yucca plant flower spikes are huge. About 4 and half minutes in I noticed when you showed the mountain views and the old yucca spike was like 20 ft. Maybe that is an exaggeration.
Good to see her back in your videos. This is the Venture 4wd I remember. Where can I find those storage bags I. The back corner of your Jeep that you show in the opening of your video?
This video reminds me how much I miss Chris and Orangie out exploring together - the good old days!
Definitely!
Absolutely agree
Agreed
Agreed
Totally agree! ❤
And that's how you grind coffee!! I love these types of videos, Chris. Thank you!!
The upgrading and adventures in the Rubicon is why I stared watching this channel. Good to see the old girl out in the dirt again.
The rollover was crazy, I remember that
Awesome, thank you for sharing Chris! -Ryan
No angry eye grille. No rubber duckies. No silly color-matching hinge covers or themes. Just a guy and a solid, well-loved and well-used Jeep, using it for its intended purpose. LOVE seeing Orangie back on the trail!
Great memories there for us as long time viewers of the channel. It's great to see the Jeep back!
Chris, it’s so good to see you and Orangie back together again out and about!
I really hope you take note of the comments on this video Chris…..this really is why most people watch and subscribe to your channel, me included. It’s great t9 see one of these videos again, I’ve really missed them having watched the channel since you moved out of your home.
The Orange Jeep and a grilled cheese... what could be more Chris-like!!
Look forward to getting back to your roots with the jeep.
YES! The Jeep is back, and so is this viewer :D

It warms my heart to see that old Orange Beast lumbering up a washout, hanging the front axle.
There's Orangie! Glad to see Orangie.
Thank you for bring Orangie out of retirement. That jeep made the show all these years. Fixing up her small problems and going in her again is awesome. Thanks again. God Bless in all things.
I have to say I quit watching the channel when you switched to the van after watching this channel for years. The Jeep is the co star of the show!
It's great to see the Jeep again.
Like Bob Ross and his paintbrush, Chris is his best self with Orangie!
I hope this is more common seeing the jeep!
Welcome back Orangie!
Chris - I have to admit that I started watching your channel because of your jeep adventures. I have a two door JK. Glad you bought the Jeep back out. The Jeep is why started watching years ago.
Nice to see you back in your Jeep Chris. I've been watching many of your videos over the years and enjoy them.
Orangee lives!!! It's been too long ole girl. I'm thrilled to see ya again.
Always go with your best pitch and the Jeep is that.
Love the more classic venture4wd video Chris :)
Orangie lives!
Man… I didn’t realize how much I had missed seeing you out in this Jeep! Love it! Glad to hear and see you are still at it! been watching you since i've gotten my jeep in 2013. Love to see Orangie back.. and loved this small adventure. Miss the two of you together.
Love the grilled cheese sandwich, the shot of Rubicon at 0:48, "as luck would have it, all of are vehicles need tires" and the gear noise from the transfer case. Thank you Chris for sharing your adventures with us.
Awesome to see Orangie out and about!
Orangie rocks! I'm definitely partial to the Jeep.
Good to see Oranges and you back. This type of video is what makes you special! Wish you all the best. Your friend in Pennsylvania. Bob
Love seeing the old Jeep back in business.
“Banana in the tail pipe” classic Eddie! This is such a great video reminds me of a classic venture upload! Nice work Chris!
Fantastic to see you and the Jeep again!
Hey Chris, this brought back memories. As others have said, these old videos with the Jeep were what inspired me to take my van out on offroad adventures. Like most of us, my life had changes and my needs were different, so I have been homebound for awhile. Thanks for this one.

I have just finished doing a complete front end rebuild on my 04 Tundra at 170,000 miles. Nowhere near the offroad beating that Orangie has taken.
Finally, I appreciate your level of detail when you maintain/upgrade the Jeep. I will enjoy the next few videos very much. Giving back to the Machine that started it all!
damn this was nice to see. Orangie and ultimate. Those videos got me through the dark years
Have missed Orangie and your exploring. You 2 go well together :>) Will be nice to see Shannon back exploring again with you and Orangie.
So good to see Orangie out and about... It never gets old. The true spirit of adventure!
At last, Orangie. The vans is cool but…. Good old weekend feelings are back 😉
Your right, we missed Orangy. Its great to see her again. Ya, you have a list of comments... But it still looks great. CHEERS from Colorado
Orangie is a BEAST!
Orangie is a Legend; the Clint Eastwood of Jeeps!
There is nothing more compelling on UA-cam than an Orange Jeep and poor dietary choices! 😂
Good to see you back, been missing your videos. I hope you’re back for a while.
It's so good to see the Jeep back in action!!!
Great show. keep up the good work
Good to see you and the Jeep out again. Thanks for sharing.
You do some of the best video content on You Tube. What and how you film are pretty unique
Get yourself a 392 and start fresh. You have a great platform, you just need some cool stuff to spice it up.
Welcome back orangie !!!!!!!! Hope to see more.
Orangie!! Orangie!! Orangie!!
Yes finally back in Orangie
I love the Jeep setup keep it going

Is it the inner tie rod problem ? Replace both .
Our old friend Orangie 😂

Did you name the Jeep after the "Main character" in Breakfast at Tiffany's? Lol.
Love your videos! Im an owner of a 2012 Defender HCPU myself. Have u ever considered getting the canvas tent for the load bed, and sleep on the back?
Ditto
Love the tilt shift effect on the LandRover footage! Happy Valentine's Chris and Shannon :)
Good to see her back in your videos. This is the Venture 4wd I remember.
Where can I find those storage bags I. The back corner of your Jeep that you show in the opening of your video?
Good times ! 👍🍁🤙
I always wondered what happened to the Japanese soldier from Gilligan's Island lol.
