Oct. 5th - Oct. 8th, 2006
Round of 16's
Alvaro Beltran vs. Sudsy Monchik
Games 3,4, partial 5
David Calabrese
There is some incredible shot making in this match
great video! got me pumped anyways, even if it didn't pump up the crowd
@gautlet996 This marked Sudsy's short lived comeback tour, and as you can see from the video, Suds was still a force even after enjoying retirement for a few years. It was awesome to see in person!
David Calabrese what I see is Sudsy not as dominant As the 2 two player for the past 10 years.
These 2 in 2022 would still be a great match!
awesome video footage!
i like the three serves to the forehand by red dude and the three kills that followed, SWITCH IT UP!
the 5th game was unbelievable.
As suds wins US national doubles in 2020😱 and Beltran beat Kane a few months ago
Great Vid !!! Thanks
Someone is throwing down some bombs in that other court. The sound.. that cat is hammering that ball
Why did Beltran insist on using his soft/lob serve to the forehand? Monchik chewed it up so many times- you'd think he'd switch to a different primary serve...?
Damn, that dude on the far right must be 450 lbs!
David Calabrese related to Freddy Calabrese??
This is a racquetball video. I don't think many here care if squash is better or not..
Haha seems like nobody in the crowd has hair
Funny. I actually play both racquetball and squash. Racquetball I've played for almost 15 years now and found that the higher level I achieved, the more boring it became.
Once I started playing squash I realized just how much more intelligent each rally is. Squash crowds applaud after nearly every point, while racquetball crowds applaud after long rallies, which are rare at higher levels.
good for you...now take your racquetball Nobel prize and go home
What a boring crowd!
how boring, squash is a much more skillful game
