I used to listen Tinariwen very fondly. Now i saw this new face Imarhan who is also wonderful. Do they make one band?
No they are two separated band. But, they know each other very well, in fact, Seddam the leader of Imarhan (the singer in this clip) once replaced a member of Tinariwen in world tour, he could easily join them but his child dream and project was with his "little" unknown band at the time. So, he returned back to Tamanrasset and found his band.
@@i_amscarface_the_legend9744 thanks bro

LYRICS ENGLISH :
The Gazelle
When night falls,
the stars disappear.
When day breaks,
those who love her
disappear.
This is the story of a gazelle
who is forced to abandon her child.
Danger has come to her homeland.
Peace no longer resides there.
Her enemies are legion.
It’s a scramble,
in which her love was lost.
My heart remains, seeking its desire,
Searching for the one it loves.

i prefer the hand percussion. The drum kit makes them sound like any old band from somewhere. It detracts from their natural groove.
I was just wondering the name of that percussion? I want to know what it sounds like, but can't because of the drumkit.
