- So a while ago I bought the oldest goalkeeper gloves in the world. These are from 1968 and in today's video we're going to be putting the to the test!

I’m 11 rn and I became a goalkeeper a few months ago and for some reason my new football academy thinks that I have been training for years I knew how to dive without anyone teaching me just from experience and I’m happy that I found something I’m good at :)

@@KidR917 if you dive is short do leg exercises and forcus on you spring technique you may not see it in the beginning but after a little time do it like 3-4 days a week 10 min (i have been a goalkeeper for 10 years) keep traning :)
Im 13 years old I’ve been playing in goal since I was 11 and there’s a kid at my club who can high dive really well and He started around the same time as me but I can only do a high dive at a turf field because it’s soft but on grass i can’t get my self to do it could you make a video explaining how to high dive ps. The kid did start with good coaching but my coaches were volunteering
If you just do it and don’t think anything of it you will realize it doesn’t hurt and then do it on the other sides until you do it without thinking then do it with a ball
Don't think while you're goalkeeping, you have to go for it without hesitating. If you hesitate you will be late for the save.

Love how original the idea of this video is! The grip test showed that you could tilt the ball with your bare hands. That is proof enough for anyone that keepers catch with their hands and gloves are supplemental.

Should try them in wet conditions to see how they fair, I can imagine the ping pong style grip would be extra slippy in the rain.
Also why not try loads of random gloves for fun, garden gloves, welder gloves even knitted gloves haha.

I think not having expensive things only works in certain areas. Plenty of GK never had the use of gloves just like WR/TE in american football dont always wear gloves to catch insane throws. Cleats should be more spent over because of quality and comfort and goalie gloves are really just extra padding and help catch alittle more.

I am 12 old i its so likes football actually posision goal keeper and at first, of course, I was very insecure with myself, I was afraid to make a fatal mistake and didn't have the right equipment. There was something that traumatized me, yes, when my friend kicked the ball towards the goal I was guarding, the ball my friend kicked hit me in the face and I didn't. I was able to block him until now I'm still traumatized by the ball that goes to my head and now I'm starting to become proficient at being a goalkeeper and have complete and qualified equipment Thank you for having listen

Hey mate! Definitely a great choice, I personally prefer the Rebel White-Out or the new Alien Plasma but you should go with what you enjoy using most and are most comfortable with! 🧤🔥
