I used to and still do love to hug, but the Torah says we need to limit our hugs in terms of son-in-law; husbands that are not ours; male friends etc. Therefore, as soon as I took on the mitzvah of shomer negiah, it felt odd and uncomfortable to me to limit my hugs, but beautiful (I'm assuming) in the eyes of Hashem. Hugging could not be, then, the secret to self worth and personal power unless it is limited. Would like some discussion for us ba'alei teshuva since it's a difficult mitzvah when one is not raised to consider hugging ever an act against the will of Hashem.
Can you not do both, bring the spiritual/G-dliness into this word, as well as elevating the mundane material to a G-dly status or purpose? I believe one can. I think in order to do the later you must have mastered, or be aware of the former.
'A hug is bringing G-d into the world." I like that. In the few videos I have seen so far you talk about spiritual things that G-d wants from us; this can apply to all people on earth; but I haven't heard you speak about specific Jewish mitzvoth - keeping kosher; keeping Shabbat, etc. What is your opinion, too, concerning hearing a woman singing??
(Note: Rabbi Aaron is busy teaching and asked me to follow up on some messages - Kol Tuv, Tehillah) Much more content from Rabbi Aaron can be found on his site rabbidavidaaron.com - there are many videos there that are not in his UA-cam channel because he is often interviewed by others.
Wow! I stumbled on this tonight...I needed this! You are Heaven sent and your messages great stronger and stronger.
I appreciate your wisdom Rabbi. And stand with you and speak against the prejudice of people who hate Jews and the nation of Israel. Shalom
This is great! I love what the "ancients" teach us
Dear Rabbi,
I thank G-d from my heart that there are kind, sincere, beautiful, G-d-believing people like you!
May G-d bless you always!
Thank you
BEAUTIFUL ♥️

Dear rabbi. I like the comment, you said, your soul to materialize it to materials. We are all part of one soul, soul of god.
