I'm gonna have to try that out!! I'm thinking on doing some videos with combo testing sometime to kinda give a variety of content expansion on my channel, so I'll have to give that a try!
If you like taper, you can probably put it on 9-60 to improve its burst resistance and use high taper to get the same height without a major change to its behavior
I'm trying Rudder out on 3-80U. I'd say 9-80 would be my perfect ratchet but that ain't happening for me until they give us a red version of the ratchet. The logic behind the taller ratchet is I've noticed the Rudder blade likes to down-smash with its undercarriage. You even see it in your video @11:00, where it pushes Sphinx Cowl's face into the dirt, haha. I'm thinking that getting above opponents' blades and forcing their beys off-balance might be a very successful tactic for Phoenix Rudder combos, hence the decision to go with 80.
All the parts of the Phoenix Rudder are interesting. The blade is very round and the contact points are smooth, along with the aerodynamic design promised in Wyvern Gale, giving it great potential. The 9-70 is great for height-threatening beyblades like Hell Hammer and Wizard Rod, and has great burst resistance. The Glide increases the stamina of the beyblade with POM material, and the 16 teeth on the gear allow for lightning-fast counterattacks.
Thank you!! And as for a cho z valkyrie combo, honestly, the stock combo is pretty solid. I haven't messed around with custom combos on cho z valkyrie very much. Probably upgrading the evolution to evolution' is the best thing in my opinion lol
Attack type on in Bey-X just seem so much aggresive which set them apart from other type. Yeah the gimmick type on Bey-X seems a lot more distinct and apparent. But the issue with Attack type somehow still exists that they spend so much more stamina that I often times see them losing from it a lot rather than getting knocked out.
And that is where all the techniques for launching comes in handy to be able to avoid the xtreme line and maintain stamina and stability. It definitely is way more aggressive for sure though!!!
How is it good tho its lighter compared to pheonixwing and worse than wizardrod i really hate how they made it a stamina type it was good til they made it lik this😢
Phoenix rudder is top notch for sure. If you haven't realized by now, in beyblade x, weight has nothing to do with performance. It is all about weight distribution. Both Rudder and Crest I would place easily into an S their ranking in stock combo forms lol
@_ultimateblader_ yeah, and that's why they hate defense types cause they are light and usually get angry with creators who have a battle against the heavy attack blades and a defense type smokes them. X doesn't have anything to do with weight. It is all about weight distribution lol, and that's from takara tomy themselves as well as on every deck set box, hence why TT doesn't talk about the weight of the bey and only talks about the distribution of its weight when they release the beys lol
@@leftspinbeys2 even if that's the case weight is still important for example leoncrest outclasses leonclaw same with sword and buster even feather against wing etc
Rudder is mid. Too aggressive of a shape for stamina and not aggressive enough for attack. It's a worse weiss tiger with way too much hype locked behind a triple set
I feel ya bro! Personally for me, so far from my experience, this bey is perfectly balanced. Can tank Wizard Rod, defend easily against Phoenix Wing and Dran Buster, and can out spin defense and other stamina types with ease. But it's all good! Ever blader has a different experience lol
@ObtainThePain absolutely bro! I think it is just rule of thumb for TT to make at least 1 or 2 broken beys a generation lol. Eliminating Rod from the game, Rudder is very formidable and pretty solid lol
Ive been waiting for this video for so long!!! Phoenix Rudder is already one of my favorite beys ever!! Awesome videos as always bro!
I absolutely love Phoenix rudder as well! I'm excited to give some of these combo recommendations a try! And thank you bro!!
Phoenix Rudder 9-70 Taper is a stellar counter attacker. It can even destabilize itself at a certain angle and snipe ratchets.
I'm gonna have to try that out!! I'm thinking on doing some videos with combo testing sometime to kinda give a variety of content expansion on my channel, so I'll have to give that a try!

@@OSXHoneyBadger I don't have high taper, that's the problem.
Scythe Evolution
@@SJ-Lakui I know, but it comes in a deck set

Absolutely! They do have a yellowish 9-80 out there that might look good on it! But hell yeah!
The into hit hard 🤟🔥🔥🔥
Thank you bro! Hell yeah!

Hell yeah man!! I absolutely love Rudder bro. And I'm glad that brought the POM material back from burst
Bro can you tell me the best cho z valkyrie combo please? Btw fire vid

Amazing ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you!!!!
Your welcome ❤❤❤❤❤@leftspinbeys2
You're the best! I seriously appreciate it all!
Why did they put the 180 ratchet on Shinobi shadow it's going to be a little off balance even if it's a stamina type
The 1-80 on shinobi gives it a harder counter attack, and shinobi Shadow is a defense type. The 1-80 is actually a pretty good ratchet lol
@@leftspinbeys2oh lol

Rudder 9-60B best stamina combo
Hell yeah! I'll have to give that a try!!
Ya should also try Phoenix rudder 9-70 Point
I've seen a few people use point on it, so I'm gonna have to give it a try!
Change to 9-60, seems to do better i.m.o, and dragoon, 7-60 glide to take on wiz rod
Hell yeah! I'll have to give that a try!!
Let's fucking go
Hell yeah man!!
I feel like rudder is a bit disappointing. It’s a shame because phoenixes are my favourite. At least Wing is still top in the meta
Rudder has some great potential for sure and is still, in my opinion an A or S TIER bey for Beyblade X, but hell yeah, I love Phoenix Wing though!!
@@leftspinbeys2 I’d say B at most. Too many strong options over it. Maybe using Unite?
Destroyed with Dran buster, Keel Shark and Phoenix wing. Not the best in the meta imo
Well it is a stamina type and they are attack types lol. Stock combo wise is above average, but components and parts are all definite must haves lol
