- A short song made in FL Studio 21 using just a piano, serum for synth sounds, and some rain noises!
it was raining earlier today, and I really enjoyed the mood :)
I opened up commissions recently, and this song is actually one of them !!
I've been having so much fun working together with people, and really feel ill try to do these more often haha

For those unaware, petrichor is the smell that comes after/with rain, when bacteria in the soil release geosmin. Petrichor V is also the name of the planet you visit in Risk of Rain 2.
Always imagined it to be a name of some random Greek philosopher or a wizard

maaaan this one's so pretty, I really like how you took a lot of super wide, ambient and distant chords but then linked them together with a lot of really simple progressions like the major ii V I and minor VI V i's, really neat stuff!
Sounds like the type of song to play in the room before the final boss after a heartwrenching cutscene with a plot twist and an extremely difficult gauntlet of enemies.

This is so extremely good, it almost kind of feels like noir jazz but more melancholic and less mysterious but straight sad. Brilliant!
OMG IT IS MAJOR CATCHUP TIME FOR ME. THE VIBES OF THIS ONE ARE SO NICE. The rain works well with it, I frequently put on ambience noises on top of the songs I'm listening to. I don't know all the fancy music words and things but like. Just. The notes in the order you use them here are so nice.
This is such a good calm piano melody, and the ambient rain fits so well with it! Whoever commissioned this must be very happy with it.
Oh and for the meowsynth album, what if you made something like a video game soundtrack, kind of like the Voices From Another World albums, but with the meowsynth? You could even do a dramatic final boss theme but instead of trumpets or electric guitars it's just meows 😂
I was in the middle of playing Minecraft when this came out and let’s just say, walking around my world with this music was oddly emotional… thank you for the beautiful music

We tried doing this in our music class before, but I kind suck at doing slow songs now, but there was a guy who was able to make something similar to this. I was amaze how he did it on an old DAW (mix craft pro 7).
Anyways this one sounds like a calm walk in the rain😌.
