Hi you never mention a pretty important point. I was wondering how long does it stay hot and how long does it stay cold between switching between the two. Thanks.

Good question! It's 5 minute alternations for 2 cycles so 20 minutes total. Cold - Hot - Cold - Hot - you can always give it another blast of Cold at the end too or just repeat the cycle over.

Thank you for this review! it helped tip me over the edge to get this cube, had it for two days now and it's really nice, I'm enjoying the contrast therapy to help my low back, it's also been great for DOMS after working out.

Thanks for the video very helpful. Elsewhere, you mentioned that for contrast therapy you should start with hot and end with cold. Is this important? The reason I ask is because the RecoveryTherm Cube starts on cold and ends on hot. 20 minutes altogether and alternates every 5 minutes: cold, hot, cold, hot. This is not a showstopper because you can activate hot only or cold only manually and change between them every 5 minutes. What do you advise?

You're right, thanks for the comment, what we recommend is just running an extra cold cycle after it stops :) works perfectly that way - run the auto process for the 20 minutes then restart it for 5 :)

I was recommended Micro-Pulse ICES Model A-9, for my lower back pain. What do you think about it. Hot and Cold Therapy is way cheaper😁.

Thanks for sharing, I'm sorry I've not got experience with that equipment, the important thing to understand is the mechanism of action - what you're hoping to be happening in the body :) This is why we reccomend the hot/cold - it does work to manage that inflammation :D

Now I read elsewhere it’s five mins hot five mins cold. Confused now

Yep, when you initiate contrast bathing (pressing both buttons at the same time) it goes onto this cycle of 5 mins of each

I found it online cold for 18 mins heat for 24 mins. Is this your experience?

Yep, it does long individual cycles heat or cold - but you can always just stop them after the desired time :)
I only use it for the contrast to be honest.

Thanks for the review. For my sore side deltoid (after a round of golf), I’ve been using the Therabody massage gun to aid in recovery. Would this be a better tool to use instead or would it help to use it in conjunction with the massage gun? Or is the massage gun all I really need?

To be honest i think the cube is not ideal for the shoulder as it is difficult to get it to contact bony or rounded areas as well. However, if you've got an element of supraspinatus involvement it would be quite helpful, just strap it on and have your arm resting on a chair or something to improve the contact of the cube. The massage guns are great though and so useful for many things (i'd be going around the neck and shoulder girdle, plus the biceps - in fact check out the video below - do that :) ua-cam.com/video/Qm9M8xkBlE0/v-deo.html
