In Bleach, u cant just win by raw strength. It was always who has the greater hax ability and if it can counter his opponent's hax ability. The biggest example is when Kenpachi tries to fight Pernida then proceeds to get his arm folded because Pernida just has a greater hax

There's a lot of context clues about just how much Uryu trained during the 1 yr 7month timeskip, not that he'd ever admit it, but when he gets rekt by Ginjo you can see bandaged on his fingers similar to his training with the glove pre soul society, bro was hitting the "gym" nonstop after being clowned on by Ulquiorra and being basically powerless against the espada. Of course Ywachs blood and his volstandig adds to it, but don't discredit Uryus tsundere ahh training in secret, he also had a new bow when he teamed up with Ichigo against tsukishima and Ginjo
Not to mention, a Quincy's Vollstandig amplifies the powers of their respective schrift. Uryu's abilities were at Genjutsu level of broken with those multi power-ups
There’s also 4. Quincy are usually using surrounding reiatsu to amp their techniques. As we well know, there’s no better place to do it than royal palace itself. There’s so much power laying around for Quincy to amp them up.
The only issue I have with Uryu’s sudden power cliff is , what comes after Senjumaru for him? He and Ichigo will obviously not try to kill each other. His fight will Haschwalth will be interrupted and there should be no reason for him to fight other captains. Unless Kubo radically changes the story and he turn on the Schutzstaffel, I don’t see how Uryu is supposed go above and beyond from here.
Uryu was the first to defeat a Gotei 13 Captain. Not only that, he was able to master Letzt Stil in a very short time too. The only thing that holds him down is himself. Uryu was always strong 🙌
And let’s not forget about what Mr urahara said about kampaku, how every time they come back from near death experiences they get stronger, basically being a zenkai boost.
For those of you calling Uryu's win an ass pull, most Sternritters like As Nodt, had very little to no fighting prowess before getting their Schrift from Yhwach, and they were able to go toe-to-toe with captain-level Soul Reapers afterwards. Uryu could fight captain and Espada level enemies beforehand, so getting his Schrift significantly boosted his powers beyond a normal Sternritter. Then, add all of the power amps from Auswählen, the Almighty, and his own Vollstandig, which is the Quicy equivalent to a Bankai, and it just makes sense he beat Senjumaru.
Schrifts are also insanely broken. It's like how Book of the End is such a difference maker. Tsukishima definitely didn't have captain level Reiatsu, and even if he did, you need higher than bare minimum to go toe to toe with Byakuya. However, these broken abilities are just short of "shut up I win" moves over someone mountains of times stronger.
I feel like a lot of people underestimares his strength even before drinking Yhwatch's blood....the guy was the first one in the series who defeated a capitan with bankai,forced Granz to use his ressurecion whitch Renji failed to do despite having a bankai,outsmarted Yammi and survived the beating from segunda etapa Ulciorra HECK even survived the stabbing from Vasto Lorde Ichigo!!!!! In the fullbringer arc he was caught off guard and injured because of that and since Ichigo needed to flex his new power he didn't do much after,BUT worth noting that he didn't get his memories rewritten like Chad and Orihine...
My take was that he awakened the extra power that being in Ichigo’s presence gave him, which we know empowered Orihime, the Fullbrings and probably Chad and might’ve been the reason for Byakuya, Rukia and Renji were able to become stronger upon contact with the Royal guard’s reiatsus much like Uryu
Uryu literally tanked all of Jugram's attacks that the Balance made unavoidable and unblockable, and even doubled them when Uryu used A. Uryu has the better stats.
I think people forget that Uryuu ain't a pure blooded Quincy, yet he can withstand Yhwach 1st Auswhalen that targeting all non-pureblooded Quincy such as his mother Katagiri and Masaki (Masaki blooded already tainted by White). His father is a prodigy among the Quincy and his grandpa is Souken Ishida last remaining of Quincy Resistance Leader against Yhwach so he basically had a great base power but lack of experience and to bad many of his opponent are his kryptonite. But, after get Yhwach blood and awaken his Schrift "The Antithesis" it wasn't surprise he become so OP🔥🔥🔥
There's a clear emphasis on him having to trick/outsmart his opponents rather than outright face them. I'd put so many of the Elite Guard and Royal Guard above Uryu in terms of battle potential. Hell, without his schrift, the guy would've repeatedly died in the last arc alone. He's hella strong and easily above average captains but guy's got the Gohan effect going on and would rather just be a doctor, by the looks of it.
I think Kubo just kinda didn't wanna take the time to think of an interesting and exciting concept for uryu or even most of the quincies to gain a massive power buff. So instead the logic resorted to "King gets buff = subordinates get buff".
There is a chance it wasnt an antithesis based on how their roles changed . Uryu was hanged different then how senjumaru was rapped up very different and his power completely reverse the roles between two object so she was supposed to be hanged like him but she wasnt . Uryu eyes were red which leads to maybe almighty through his connection with yhawch

They're not on the same level...even after Uryu took Yhwachs blood and awakened an A shrift that has crazy hax, he MIGHT have a chance of keeping up with Ichigo for a bit but it's still no contest who wins if they truly fought.

How could Yhwach use Almighty against Ichibei if he was covered with Ichibei's ink? That means Yhwach was powerless. Can the user use powers that he has awakened while being covered by the ink without a problem?
cuz ichibei stated that for yhwach to awakened almighty he has to die first. almighty's base power is to render any attack that's foreseen in the future useless. that's why ichibei couldn't do anything against him
And all of it was ICHIBE's plan. He knew that the Zero squad will lose because he knows how powerful the Almighty is and even his powers wont work against it and how the almighty works so he planned all of the things that have happened in the royal palace including making Ichigo become the soul kings replacement. Remember that Ichibe became the squad zero's captain because of his wisdom.
He got strong? I not read the manga but everything he did in blood war until yet was taking L's. All his attacks got deflected and blocked and he got blitzed. It is simply an asspull. You can't make a character a literal punching bag prior to the final arc and suddenly make him one of the strongest. It doesn't add up.
Training, power boosts, etc. It makes perfect sense its not an asspull
So Training didn't exist prior to the final arc to get this strong? Also if an elixir is the need for a power up then it is definitely an asspull

His Schrift saved him, that's simply the answer. He can't do anything at all against Senjumaru's bankai the whole time. It's basically the same like Izanami
What are you talking about? Uryu was going blow for blow against her while being trapped in that life cage that ate up his reiatsu in his base form

@@rajm4581he can switch stuff like damage, places etc. That attack was supposed to kill Uryu but he switched the death that he was supposed to receive to Senjimaru, using a 1 hit kill attack against Uryu is really dangerous since he can just make you take the damage instead and die
How could Yhwach use Almighty against Ichibei if he was covered with Ichibei's ink? That means Yhwach was powerless.
Can the user use powers that he has awakened while being covered by the ink without a problem?

Remember the backstory between Ichibe and Yhwach in cour 2? That's probably when his eyes were sealed
cuz ichibei stated that for yhwach to awakened almighty he has to die first. almighty's base power is to render any attack that's foreseen in the future useless. that's why ichibei couldn't do anything against him

And all of it was ICHIBE's plan. He knew that the Zero squad will lose because he knows how powerful the Almighty is and even his powers wont work against it and how the almighty works so he planned all of the things that have happened in the royal palace including making Ichigo become the soul kings replacement. Remember that Ichibe became the squad zero's captain because of his wisdom.

He got strong? I not read the manga but everything he did in blood war until yet was taking L's. All his attacks got deflected and blocked and he got blitzed. Wooow he switched places cause of ywachs allmighty and plus of ywchas hax ability he got...and that's it. Like he not even looked confident the hole fight he was looking like he could barely up that was at least what his face expression was saying.
For all the people saying Uryu’s sudden strength is an asspull. It’s not. His true strength was foreshadowed in soul society when he used letz stil (remember it brings out the pinnacle of your Quincy power). The reason he hasn’t grown in strength throughout the series is because he had no one to train him (besides his grandfather). You also have to remember is that Quincy’s get strength from yhwach (so when he drank his blood, it awakened his potential and his new ability)
