When i was much younger i owned one....but !!! Lots of Accsess Virus Products were sold with hardware defects. Take care an check all its function. Mostly you find defects when using not often used features.
Still cant find anything on the Indigo vs. TI Polar. No idea at all. Although I know I found an indigo for $800 and the cheapest I can find TI2 Polar is $1500. Is the indigo just a Virus B? I've heard the B was a better sounding one than C or Polar, but just from reading forum posts.
@@bobcatt2294 I have a Access Virus Indigo and it's sounds are spacey. I have yet to jump into it and try it out. However my music is rap and hip hop. However I do know how to program.
So there's not much point getting an Indigo if you've got a Ti2, that seems to be the general consensus it seems, surely theres a way to get the indigo patches onto the TI2? I like the patches on the indigo but the TI2 seems to have the edge over the indigo, I mean surely its 10 years younger so surely some improvements overall? Id be buyig it for the patches, just not sure its worth having if you already own a TI2? Only way to truly know is to get one and try I suppose, gonna be pros and cons to both for sure. Does seem to have its own dated kinda character. I dunno man, being broke again can I go through it again, ive got enough synths I reckon. But theres just something about the virus synths, once your hooked your hooked. I currently have a polar and my friend lent me long term a 128 key darkstar TI2, sequencing polar with a a keystep pro and the darkstar 128 with a beatstep pro. This plus keystep pro is such a good combo as getting into and programming the TI2 sequencer is like yeh nah fuck that, can only do it with a DAW i believe so if your running analogue setup I can highly recommend a dedicated sequencer. Having 2 keyboards for each virus is also alot of fun especially if you use the keyboard patch split feature (I dont know how to do this yet) Any tips?
Since you have a virus what would you recommend to someone who wants to buy one... Access virus ti Access virus ti2 Access virus ti polar Access virus snow ? And are the access virus ti 1 and 2 same?
@@cnovasalmanhussain751Hey I believe in buying the best you can afford. If you have the chance to get a full size 128 key TI2, do it! Polar TI2 or darkstar if your short on space, although id reccomend getting more keys. TI2 polar is still the same synth though. I cant rem the difference between the TI and TI2, there is a video on it somewhere. Something to bear in mind is that access dont support updates for it anymore due to the chipset becoming outdated. But that shouldnt stop you. It still works amazing with ableton. Its a complex beast that takes years to master. So you wont get bored of it. There's some great patch sets to buy and also the pros are still making patch sets for it. For me what sets it apart is the soundcard and 6 outs 2 inputs, and the 16ch multitrack. the ableton VST is also a great way to understand how the layers of the synth are laid out and work. Getting one is the hard part. Good luck and feel free to pick my noob brain
Hi Daniel, are you sure all these sounds exist as factory or are these your sounds? I have a Virus and will be checking...Can you share these patches on G Drive?
I use it, and find it quite useful. You can select how much (amount) you want to 'randomise' so it's not uncontrollable. Found a number of patches for keeps from using randomise.
Seriously! As people talk about the ti2 and virus C This model is so underated it has a distinctive character to the sound and filters are amazing

Thats a lot of artifacts, Is it the synth that gives out these artifacts is it??
This machine is a dream
Dang, I want to buy one now. Thank you!
have you bought it?
Did you buy it
Sound Very nice , thanks !

Good questions left unanswered :(

The virus indigo is the C with a keyboard
Indigo 1 is virus B engine, indigo 2 is virus C engine, then comes TI and TI2
2:21 if it can do Airwave it can do it all :)
You think that’s impressive my virus ti2 can play it & you wouldn’t be able to tell which is the song hmu on fb I’ll send you a video of airwave
Nice demo! 7:50
Thx ;)
Great vid
Anyone know the name of the presets? Are they factory presets? Great sounds, thanks for sharing
Your right output is broken. Listen with headphones and you hear artifacts just on the right side.
I happen to have an Access Virus Indigo 2 🐳
Good sounds.
Thx ;)

Can you load Virus TI2 presets in Indigo?

Hello man. For what kind of music u recommend virus indigo?
is it possible to save favorite patches, or at least one patch next to another for easy switch at live situations?
just to the bottom left of the screen is a STORE button. the virus B which this was modeled after had 256 user slots for patches.
Banks A & B are completely user customizable, the ROM banks are C & D.
Have you used the random patch generator on this? Does it give any decent results?
