He also stated to the smarty butt fat kid "see.unlike a wolf or lion who prefers to attack either from behind or facing towards you for a killing blow, a raptor is way smarter than both of them. Raptor is "coordinated " pack Hunter and they converge by attacking from sides,and with their huge claws/talon Raptors don't attack your jugular like a lion or tiger does but cut you open Spilling your intestines right out of your stomach and start feeding on you and you'll be still alive while they are doing All of this 🤠.. so show them some well deserved respect ..

Be careful with that dizziness as it could be a sign of a blood pressure issue. I was having a similar problem and whenever I stood up I would get dizzy and sometimes almost blackout. It was the two times that I very nearly passed out that got me to the doctor. The doctors found I had a low blood pressure called Orthostatic hypotension. It is hard to diagnose as most people blow it off and it only happens when you stand up or change your body position. Otherwise your blood pressure is.good. I have mine controlled with medicine and have no issues now. I developed it when I was in my 40s.
Really enjoyed this episode as I love Slinky and the rock monitors.

Painting the wire of the sun catchers black will get rid of the glare and it will almost disappear. We do it at the baseball fields and it makes a huge difference.

Not advised. Nails will flake off paint and that is not good for animals.

Next time you come to Philadelphia you have to go to the zoo. they have tunnels, like you mentioned, for the Tigers and some of the Monkees. They walk right over the path where the people walk.

That black throat enclosure would look so sweet with shelves coming out from around the tube, the one walkway isnt alot of choices so they may be a bit scared cause theres 0 cover and 1 way for them to walk out
I was thinking the same. They are pretty exposed on the walkway so that might be why they are so cautious.
I think Huff & Puff are perfect names. It is so accurate.

I watched you and your father in-law seeing up the panels and you installing the tube... but today's video of the Black Throats was EPIC ! But that Habitual for Slinky idea cracked me up... I could just see him poking his snout out to check on you ! Fantastic Video !!!
That shot at 16:35 reminds me a lot of the scene in Jurassic Park when the raptor is looking through the kitchen window

You need to do more of those type of enclosures. It’ll be so so much easier for you to bring them in when it gets cold.
Raccoons being Trash Pandas, I'd be worried about what they ate before I fed it to Slinky!

Big G is also aghast at just how aggressive Slinky is with his eating regime! No atomic breath necessary!
Great encloser, can't wait to see them really enjoying it. I'd defiantly add a few shelves like you said, give them as much floor space as you can!
Kennan you need a Australian black headed monitor lizard 🦎 in your collection. My mate has a big male the colours are amazing and his friendly. Also a Australian frilled neck lizard would be amazing to see in your collection.❤

Love the New Cage! But Just My Opinion I'd Prop Open the Little Door and Let them Go In & Out a Few Times Until They Get Use To It. Once They Realize/Want to Go In & Out That little Door won't Stop Them. 👍💯👍😁

When training cats to use enclosed boxes you leave the door open so they get used to it, then when comfortable, you put the door back.
That enclosure is so awesome. Dare I say I like it better than the aquascape enclosure. Yep, I do.

Kamp Kenan and Urban Rescue Ranch have both come a looOoong way over the years.
Watching both and seeing improvements and growth here with the black throats' enclosure really reminds us of the work Ben's been doing with his reptile shed and outdoor animal spaces. Not quite the same scale (pun intended. lol) and not the same purposes, but definitely the same adoration and compassion for animals. It's so endearing and inspiring to see both properties becoming such incredible places. Someday, we hope to have something of our own, so we're always taking mental notes when we watch videos here and on the Urban Rescue Ranch channel.
Being able to keep reptiles outdoors even part of the year is amazing, but we personally loath the climates in Florida and Texas. Bummer, but we'll still do what we can where we end up!

I don't know if it's just me but i think it would be much better if those logs were placed against the exit wall.it will serve as a shelf where they can bask and it would be less obtrusive.

Planting climbing vines on the interior cage wall with the tunnel would obscure the square edges of the hole. Something quicker growing than pothos, even easy-starting vines from seeds like morning glory/moon flower or tropical perennials available in Florida.
Maybe keep the door for bad weather/winter to close it.. keep it open when u want them outside so they can go in and out but put double flaps on the both ends of the tunnel to insulate and easier for them to push through? (Like what Jerry has on his hide boxes)

Have you thought about putting something in the bottom of the black tunnel that doesn't hold on to heat? I know the weather here in Florida is not bad right now, but during the summer that black plastic will get very hot very quickly when the sun is out. Or maybe cover the tunnel with a lighter colored material to reflect some of the sun light?
If you paint the wire black it will be easier to see through from a distance 😊

Hey Kenan I was thinking maybe you could add some hides to the new black throat outdoor enclosure so when they decide to go out they can hide and feel more comfortable outside. Maybe they feel too vulnerable out there. 🤷🏻♂️

In Singapore, where some of Slinky's cousins are from, there are native wild boar and this raccoon meal would be similar to that of a wild boar piglet! So, a very accurate meal! 😊

I like your new enclosure, the bricks look really nice, whoever did that used glue ?. Looks like they used concrete glue, looks like a very pro job.
Tubes open a world a possibility, a tunnel system for slinky, I would use 48 inch, corrugated sewer pipe.
At least you can crawl in a 4 foot tube, access for maintenance. Pvc pipe might be more expensive, but even better. I would like to make some enclosures over there, would be fun as heck. The pond people you got are the best, Aquascape I watch their stuff here too.

Can lizards get hairballs like cats? That Racoon had a lot of hair, though that is still a good meal for Slinky.
I know 4sure the Tea Rex from JPark would bust through that lizard door with no hesitation lol he tried but finally got it👏🏻👏🏻
Hey how about putting clear plastic sheet like you use in the Gallop house but they make it clear. Think it would be easier for them going in n out
