    Thanks a lot for the amazing tutorial! =D Just a quick question. Unlike the cross-court lift (which uses the bevel grip), for the "hold" and "top-spin lift" you adopt the stadard grip for lifts (i.e. backhand grip) right?

    Really cool tutorial 🤩. Can you make a tutorial on the third one that can be applied to the forehand side as well ? (a forehand slice shot to make the shuttle go in the opposite direction)

    Thanks for the video. I used to naturally do these as I used my wrist and fingers a naturally for lifts. It wasn't good as it's a slight delay in my every returns and took me a while to adjust my way and I thought I was doing lifts all wrong in the past 😭

    Aloha Jenny and Greg, nice deceptions. Good to practice, also good to be able to spot them defensively. Always be wary of deceptions by studying your opponents and delaying anticipation of shot until shuttle is actually struck. Thanks for the lesson. Stay well.

    I use topspin lift near the net and it's highly deceptive both on forehand and backhand.

    Lin Dan forehand deception is the most deceptive looking of them all. Looks beautiful, and very powerful flick. Others are not that deceptive looking.

      @@BadmintonInsight I mean they are still deceptive, about 80% deceptive, but Lin Dan tops them all 100% deceptive. Even LCW deception are not that quite good as Lin Dan deception.
