What month is your birthday? I went to Cairns in January 2 years ago over the Australia Day long weekend and it rained for 3 days straight. I still had a great time. Rain but nice and warm.
Ok yeah April is at the end of the wet season in Cairns. The wet season starts from December.. Hope you still enjoyed your time in Cairns. I really like it up there. I plan to go back again soon
Thanks. Was a bit of a shock getting back to Sydney and putting my winter coat back on. On the Sunday morning in Cairns, I was sitting on the balcony of my hotel room at 7am sitting in a pair of shorts and tshirt. Such beautiful weather up there, even in winter.
At 1:57 are you allowed to look out the windows even though you aren’t going to the lounges? I know this is up those stairs I’m just curious, flying from cairns to Brisbane in a month
Yes you sure can look at the window there. It is a public area up the escalators and outside of the lounges. Right next to those seats next to the window is a small public museum which has some information about the history of aviation in Cairns. That window is about the only place in the public area you can see outside with Cairns airport. Enjoy your trip!
And now they have gone extinct. Very sad to see them disappear. This virus sure is ruthless. I unfortunately never had the opportunity to try them, so I will forever be left with video evidence of their onboard service.
I went to Cairns for my birthday week! First half of rainy but the last 3 days were sunny!

Really nice coverage. The legroom is surely the best thing on this flight. Really wide and spacious 👍
For a budget airline Tigerair does a great job

There is a new budget airline about to start in Australia called Bonza
I flew this route with Tigerair in august 2017. Everything was OK, but the legroom was very limited imho.
Unsure if TigerAir will survive this pandemic. Fingers crossed they survive to keep the competition going
Great view of my home #my mums phone sweet
