I've said it so many time to my north friends that masala in masala dosae is the red spicy paste applied to dosae and not the potato vegetable, it's called pallya meaning sabji/curry a side dish.

However, with a knowledgeable guest like Kripal-Anna, it would have been great to let him share more of his insights. There was a chance to learn from his respectful and detailed way of exploring food, which would have added even more value to the video.
Also contact sihi kahi Chandru sir. He's very much like Kripal sir. He has a cooking channel and you both may cook a veg dish and make an episode on that.
