u are one of the best stop motion guys ive ever seen ur just as good if not better then ccw and ewa (no offensie jed and matt) my stop motin gwf is coming out soon do u think u can watch it and tell me what u think of it? thanks
its 1 string around 2 legs and u dont have to tie it u just loop it around the legs like u get the string around the front of the feet and u r holding the two ends of the string, the string is thin clear thread but u can use fishing wire
i know but it was just a tutorial so it didnt matter if i made mistakes plus i didnt want to keep my hand too high because i wanted the camera to be able to see it while i was recording
its simply u dont even wrap it round u just make a loop with ipeace of string and put figs legs in it, then same with head and yeah fig does stip down sometimes but u just have to keep practcing
its hard to make them climb a ladder and try to put tape on botom of table so it can break slowly, mine is taped up because i had it for years and it breaks if u sit a fig on it
yes when i take my hands away i click the mouse to take the pic(i put mouse on floor beside me)but i sort of edited it in this video that why it looks a bit fast
The action was at a medium speed and obviously the wrestlers on tv move faster. So my question is, is it better to speed it up in edting or take less pictures and stretch out the figures arms and legs further?
Its just practice, lods of people start animating and expect it to be really good when they start, but its not gonna be, i wasnt good when i first started and that was in 2006, you just need to keep doing it and u will get better over time
go to options and go to picture duration and change it, i use 0.125 but it will only look smooth if u take alot of pics, u change it then put the pics in
yeah didgital cam has better quailty but i just find it easier using webcam cuse i dont have to keep puting pics on to computer when the card is full on didgital camera then deleting them and taking more and keep doing that.

it depends how smooth u want it, if u want it smooth then u need to take more pics, and take more time on it one move could take up to half an hour

well i find it easier not to tie cuse if you are doing a match very tim u use string you have to tie it then take it off then tie it again and so on
