Thanks for the overview, but yeah, pretty pathetic when the government says "we can't afford..." while they are handing out tens of billions of dollars per year to multi-national companies and billionaires. And yes it is a 'hand out'... ordinary citizens don't get to choose which taxes to pay, or get their every day necessary expenses deducted from their incomes... heck they don't even get to choose where the taxes they pay get spent!
yeah increase the Luxury car tax to 100k and make it mandatory for all personal vehicles over that. Landcruiser owners have to pay it, I don't see why the wanchors buying Dodge Rams shouldn't.
I think putting a cap on the diesel excise of a few million is a good idea, it won't affect any farmer but would make the mining industry have to pay it.
Incorrect. Livestock is responsible for 65% of the total emissions from agriculture, and those emissions account for 18% of our total. So not only measurable, but TWO THIRDS of a sector that is responsible for nearly one fifth of all emissions. There is no reason farming practices should not be encouraged to be greener - they can often SAVE money and even produce more by doing so.
Im glad i found this and had the time to listen.

Leave the farmers alone, please. Cows are making no measurable difference.
