Hello joe when nothing goes right it becomes a pain in the ass but it looked like you handled it and had a good time glad for you great video have a good time thank you ken
@@Only4Trucks Thanks for the reply! Did you bring it to the ATHS show in York, PA? The Great Lakes Truck Historical Society’s truck show in Clifford, ON is coming up on June 28th and 29th. How are you shifting that 5x4? Is the auxiliary stick on the right and the main stick on the left? So you go through all 4 auxiliary gears ⚙️ with the main in first gear ⚙️ and then upshift the main to second and downshift the auxiliary to first?
@@SuperDave01965 absolutely! I try to answer all the comments, sometimes it can be a delayed response but I do read every comment! And that's awesome unfortunately we cant make it that far any time soon. But hopefully maybe next year I could do a Canada show. And sadly we couldn't get it ready for York. It was just too far and we couldn't justify hauling it out there considering everything else we had going on. And you are correct with the main on the left. And I don't use lo lo on the aux because it's too low. So I just split each number on the main 3 times if that makes sense. So it's 1st gear on the main and I shift the aux from lo split, to direct, then hi split, and then put the main in 2nd, put the aux back to lo split and repeat that through all 5 gears.
I love that sound..1966 peter still running strong...i love it..
Ok,you and Diane are happy campers with old beautiful trucks 😊
That we are! Hahah
Sounds great, awesome job of fixing and driving!

Have a good day, Joe🤘! Thanks🤝
You do the same! Thank you
Nice job! I saw those trucks at the show. I brought down a old Mack septic truck from Maine.
Nice! That's a good haul from Maine!
Graben gears backing up that was cool have a good day Joe thanks
When they are there why not use them! Thank you! You have a good day too mark
Did you ever check the slippery road switch on the b model, I mentioned this before? Just a thought, love your videos
I haven't as well haven't touched that truck in some time. Unless your referring to the b815. I appreciate you loving my videos!
Hell yeah
Absolutely!
Were you leaving the show in the steel fender B Model?
Yes! I drove Diane's b815 out of there!
I was filming at the exit. Thanks for the horn salute at the end, or at least, what was left of it
Is that a 671 that’s in this truck?
Yes it is
Is that a Peterbilt 351 or 359? So it’s a 6-71 Detroit with a 5x4 transmission, but what makes? What drive axles and what ratio?
@@SuperDave01965 it's a 1966 351 and yea, 6-71 with a 5x4. Not sure on the rear gears just yet. But definitely high because it tops out at 50mph
