I'm doing the 14 day trial. It's unfortunate that the android app version isn't available yet but that won't hinder me much to test it out. I do suggest a little bit better pricing scale for the amount of devices you want covered. 1 device for 4 a month or 14 a month for 10 devices is nice but I would not need anywhere near 10 devices covered. Maybe consider a 3 device, 5 device 10 device price climb to 14? Just a suggestion. Excited to test it out and thanks for always looking out for everyone's security. 👍

Google needs accountability. this has gotten way out of control. GreaT job on you as always dude. Edit: that Seraph program you and your team made looks incredible! If that tool became popular I think it could save a TON of victims.
I'm legit going to be going to all of my friends, family, and coworkers and help them install seraph. People like you are what humanity should be; helping others and doing good. Thank you
I'm getting this for my mom. 'Alert a family member' alone is such a brilliant feature. Its a shame that its not in the free version its literally 10/10.
It costs a lot of money to set up and operate that kind of always-on monitoring and communication infrastructure. I think that if it were possible, kit would have made it free. It's really, really hard to offer things for free while also not selling out your user's private information. Personally, I appreciate that they don't sell us out.
This « Always-on monitoring » doesn’t cost anything if it runs locally once you’ve installed the software. « Sending e-mails to family members » doesn’t require any over-expensive infrastructure either. The paid version exists to generate profits, it’s a bit naive to think that Kit is only a good samaritan. He IS a good person, but also here to make money..
Im ashamed to say that I've been scammed. My only saving grace is that it wasn't life changing amounts. I was scammed out of $150( amounts I can live with), it's still not right and I feel so sorry for those who lost much larger amounts and God forbid all their life savings
Somebody got me for $500 a few years back, I was getting into playing music live and was looking into upgrading to a nicer stage keyboard. I don't know why in the world I believed a craigslist post that said they had instruments for rent to own
Nothing to be ashamed of can happen to anyone. Trust nothing you haven't double checked. And always two factor authentication your account if possible.
This can happen to anyone. You should not feel ashamed, the people who scammed you should. I almost got got by a paypal phishing scam and I'm only 36 years old and consider myself well versed in internet stuff, and yet the urgency in the e-mail got to me. I stopped right before entering my data and only because I realized the e-mail I got the "alert" on was not the one associated with my paypal account. It can happen to anyone, don't feel bad.
Sadly, Kit, the biggest issue is elderly people without kids or younger people to watch out for them on this matter. I work at AT&T retail, and I can't tell you how many scams we stop for people who just had nowhere else to go for tech help, so they came to us even though it's not necessarily a telecom issue.
It worries me, when I watch your videos, how advanced these scammers are, so for you to have developed this software to help stop scammers is amazing. I have already downloaded onto 2 of my PCs. Thank you so much for this.
THANK YOU especially for protecting the elderly! My beloved momma had dementia but I lived with her all my life and I protected her from fraud calls all the way to hospital staff like a mother bear!! Nursing home, NEVER. I thank god I could stop work and be with her 24/7! Scammers like this omg the ANGER I’m even feeling right now! God bless you!!!!
Stealing someone’s LIFE savings is abhorrent. With expenses and how low paying a lot of jobs can be, most people are completely reliant on being able to one day survive off of what they’ve dedicated 30 or 40 years building. The software your team built is incredible and needed in the world to help provide another line of defense in protecting the most vulnerable. I hope your team is able to keep updating the software to compete with the constantly evolving scamming techniques. Love ya kit. Ur the man
You've had a LOT of great ideas over the years. Seraph Secure as a program? Top notch. Did you guys HONESTLY make it? Either way it's a great idea, but yeah you guys making it is just so much better! Happy for you!
The free version provides enough functionality to protect someone, versus teasing someone with function for commercial purpose. The paid feature appears to be something requiring continual updates, versus blocking remote software which changes it's fingerprint less
I was on with a client when I worked in 401k dept of one of the companies you named in the beginning and they got one of the scam callers and added them to the call I was already on with them. They claimed to be our fraud team (our fraud team wouldn’t call to help them log into our site) and then tried to claim I was the scammer and refused to give me our internal confirmation code or their employee #, and demanded I give mine to them even tho they called into the client while she was already on with me. Thankfully she was creeped out by the aggression and BS they were spouting and hung up on them. I had the call code (we record them for security) sent to our actual fraud department. Very glad I was on with her so I could help her out and keep her from getting scammed!
Candy bars? Is that a shot at a certain UA-cam creator who decided to ”give back” 😂. In all seriousness great work, this is the right way to help a community

Google and other search engines need to be held accountable. We can't even say curse words online anymore before getting censored but yet these scams are STILL being allowed.. Make that make sense. Can you guys fighting this get together with a case and bring search engines accountable???
it's all about the money for search engines, you straight up can't even get the thing you directly searched for to come up first without "sponsored searches" of slightly similar companies popping up first. i wouldn't be surprised if the scammers are paying to get bumped up in relevance in the results in a similar way
Fr. These guys get a free pass from google but if i install an adblock for youtube -Susan- personally shows up to shoot me in the head Edit: Apparently susan died. My bad babe. Rest in piss
Thank you for taking action against those people. But let me tell you one thing: to watch your reactions and facial expressions alone is worthwhile 😂. Amazing work and I love every single second!
Most of the scammers sound similar so I like to pretend that this is a procedural show involving the same scammer repeatedly attempting to scam an old couple but is thwarted accidentally every time by their stupidity
Oh... I do the same! I'll give you my plot: apocalypse happened! And there are only two guys left in the world. Both are surviving. One is a salesman that fell in his luck and he came across a list of american phone numbers. So he decides to call the people on the other side, since it is the post-apocalypse and he is alone at first he tries to get gift cards from people because he doesn't know he is alone and he think he can still get amazon and target delivered at home. The months go by and he has to face the harsh reality. Nobody is coming. There is no help. So he think that if he gets the money, he will be able to access to a place that he invented to survive: Ponyópolis. The city of the ponys. The last refuge of humanity where people and ponys live in peace. What he didn't know is that the list he found was the list of phone numbers and aliases of Kitboga the world's best developer and the only other human alive. What ensues is the battle of the centuries. A man trying to get to a dream city, versus a man who's only thing to do is not let him. Yeah, in that retelling Kitboga is the bad guy, but he gives me soft villain vibes. Or at least anti-hero vibes.
Kitboga, you have done so much to make people understand how scammers try different ways to scam you and this software you have been involved with seems a brilliant bit of protection for many people so give yourself a pat on the back.
Nah. They are not. It's like a commercial laugh. The type of laugh you use to create rapport with a customer. It's not hard to learn. Even my autistic ass could. I even use ot irl situations. Customer support 🙄 amirite? They are using that to scam, through.
Pretty weird thing to say bro. They’re human too, they have families like the rest of us. Maybe change your perspective, these guys are doing what they have to do to survive. Life in a 3rd world country is a struggle that you will never understand.
My grandmother just got the Microsoft scam. I am so mad. Thankfully my mother was visiting shorty afterwards and got her banks accounts computer and all wiped clean. They got $500 from a PayPal. And got her to go buy gift cards, but she saw them try to do a transfer from her bank and shut everything my down. I’ve sent her your channel and the seraph support as well as my wish to just hug her and tell her everything is not her fault. I’m so mad.
HELL YEAH! Seeing you create anti-scammer software really makes me smile. My parents are definitely going to be glad for this! I've been watching you since the great Hunter saga and now I'm seriously excited about your career in virus protection. If anything, that's literally the most trustworthy source!

Life hack for you : if you speak French, even a bit, pretend you absolutely don't speak English. You can use phrases like "Désolé, je parle pas Anglais", "Pouvez-vous parler en Français?" or "En français, s'il vous plaît!". The last one is a bit condescending, but most of the time, those sentences will be enough to repell scammers

Kitboga, you're like a cyber super hero. I love your work. Thankyou so much for protecting people from scammers, while amusing us along the way with hilarious phone calls😂
Are there any legitimate instances of anyone ever needing remote access to your computer for any purpose other than troubleshooting an IT problem? I just can't think of any, going all the way back to the 80s, if you were speaking to an agent on the phone about your bank account, cable account, your water bill, even a frickin travel agent, they ask for your name and account number, run you through security, and then pull up your account on their computer. When has anyone ever needed for you to login yourself, and for them to watch you do it?
Besides getting IT help, you may want to remotely access your own computer from another device. For example, I would remote in to my work computer from my personal computer when working from home. I could also remote into my desktop from my laptop (or smartphone) to access programs or games that my laptop isn't powerful enough to run or I don't have additional licenses for. There could also be a shared workstation that's configured with a certain testing environment or programs or hardware that multiple people remote into. Most of these cases are work-related so unless you have a technical job or some very technical hobbies you'll probably never need to remote into your own computer. But the option is there, and sometimes being able to access your computer from your phone or tablet can be a timesaver in specific situations.
Not really, I mean I got paranoid when Apple wanted access to my phone and I called them. When they asked for access I’m sitting there wondering if getting rid of U2 was really worth giving them access. That being said, why couldn’t I just delete it.

Yeah it really should be
It costs a lot of money to set up and operate that kind of always-on monitoring and communication infrastructure.
It’s like $4/ Month. I say that’s a steal 🫡
"I took an arrow to the knee once" 🤣🤣🤣. Thanks for keeping the elderly people safe.
Obsessed with this channel lately, watching every video of yours while I edit mine! Keep doing what you do, you're amazing!
Im ashamed to say that I've been scammed. My only saving grace is that it wasn't life changing amounts. I was scammed out of $150( amounts I can live with), it's still not right and I feel so sorry for those who lost much larger amounts and God forbid all their life savings
They broke in through the union at work. A few got scammed because the link came from the union.
Don't feel ashamed, it can happen to anyone
How does one download this programme please & the name of the programme. Many thanks
Yeah my background is in software and I hired a bunch of smart people to help me make it :)
The free version provides enough functionality to protect someone, versus teasing someone with function for commercial purpose. The paid feature appears to be something requiring continual updates, versus blocking remote software which changes it's fingerprint less
I'm always impressed by your ability to ignore everything they say and ramble on and on about whatever. Makes me giggle.
I spoke to a Charles Schwab scammer recently, and they desperately wanted to connect to my computer. They even called back!
You are one lady in the KNOW!🤗😍
@@candyparent2483 hi!! ❤

Google and other search engines need to be held accountable. We can't even say curse words online anymore before getting censored but yet these scams are STILL being allowed.. Make that make sense. Can you guys fighting this get together with a case and bring search engines accountable???
it's all about the money for search engines, you straight up can't even get the thing you directly searched for to come up first without "sponsored searches" of slightly similar companies popping up first. i wouldn't be surprised if the scammers are paying to get bumped up in relevance in the results in a similar way
Absolutely
Fr. These guys get a free pass from google but if i install an adblock for youtube -Susan- personally shows up to shoot me in the head

"team scammer is getting redeemed agaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnn! *ding"
Kitboga, you have done so much to make people understand how scammers try different ways to scam you and this software you have been involved with seems a brilliant bit of protection for many people so give yourself a pat on the back.
Thank you, Kitboga.
You’re doing the real work to protect our elderly - and many others, that the govt is too feckless to do.

My grandmother just got the Microsoft scam. I am so mad. Thankfully my mother was visiting shorty afterwards and got her banks accounts computer and all wiped clean. They got $500 from a PayPal. Up here, in Canada, they’re pretending to be Revenue Canada, or Service Canada, and they’re stating your Social Insurance Number (like Social Security) has been suspended.
They do the same in the USA, telling you that your social security number has been suspended.

@@watsonwrotethey're asking about a different person getting a remote access
