One would imagine that the Italian mob thing would simply die off but this thing is generational. It passes from father to son, cousin, siblings, etc. Most other crime organizations die off because once the kids are grown up and have taken up legitimate careers there is no reason to be criminals. But some of these guys love the life, etc.
Glad I am able to do it I had few that were about Joey still being the boss and Ligambi as the acting, as it first came out Joey was just released from half way house and in boca but I am unable to locate?
After the death of Angelo Bruno, Philadelphia became a shooting gallery, with both civilian and mob guys alike dying in the streets. I hope the Philly Mob is never again resurrected.
It's obvious who the boss is, it's Joey. Where has he got money to live like he does? Anybody who's been to jail especially a Mafiosi in America you come out with nothing. Unless he has some extremely generous friends, he's getting scratch somewhere.
Doubtful Skinny Joey Merlino has retired. The thing here is that Mafiosos are more careful than they were in the 70s and 80s. More low profile, less publicity.
How does Merlino make his money? Lol guys send him envelopes. From both legitimate and illegal businesses they have going up here. Joeys also got ppl down in Florida who literally pay him thousands of dollars to hangout with them- get a drink, get dinner, play golf, hit the cigar bar. Whatever. Wealthy businessmen will pay him money to hangout with a mob boss. It’s no secret. The feds know it. Thing is- it’s perfectly legal lol. There’s no law against paying someone to keep company.
Is it my imagination or does Anastasia seem to have his answers ready too fast? As if this is all pre-scripted. When you hear Cops and FBI being interviewed, you always see them hesitate, pause a lot, always thinking to themselves "What can I say without saying too much."? George here talks like he's announcing a football game. I mean he's a very well spoken guy, but this isnt a ball game. He talks as if he has no worries he might say something to piss someone off. In fact, he talks with such confidence, it isnt until his interview is over that you then ask yourself....."What did he really say? Anything? I bet you ask this guy if New York pizza is better than Philly Pizza and he can make a 2 hour organized crime special on it, instead of just saying "Its the water.' lol Its like you can listen to him talk for 30 minutes and all he winds up saying is "I think these guys realize there's nothing to gain with violence." I mean...come on!
LOL. THX! I picked that right up. I hate reality tv on the mob thats just vomiting up old facts. Gotta hand it to George, he is good at what he does. Once in a while he throws his opinion on something that makes sense....but its never something that can get him killed or in trouble with the cops.
In all these programs all he's doing is saying the same thing in 3 different ways. Anything he is saying can be found in court documents, statements and reports, even surveillance footage. Notice one thing in everything he says, he never talks about anything personal about these guys. Nothing that isn't out there in the open already.
Ok boys lets all play nice This is just video from 2 crime reporters, voicing opinions on a subject they both know very well. These guys are not to be role models (the alleged mobsters) they are a plague on society, I like to share so we can see a different view then that of what Hollywood would show you.
I really appreciate the videos you put up. I agree, Cosa Nostra is not to be viewed as a good thing. It's the chicken way out because gaining money from violence or the threat of violence in a lot of ways is easier than going the right way. I do find reading about them to be very interesting though. It's interesting but not admirable.
Its like this guy is analyzing an NBA or NFL free agency or trade. Joe may go to philly, but he likes Florida sun, wildcard, hail mary, lool
The guy you're referring to in the video breaking it all down grew up in South Philly and he's an expert on the Philadelphia mob
The fact that this guy is still alive is amazing..
Thanks for all the uploads!!!

Its going to die off soon. Unless they want to start letting in people who are 1/4 Italian. Its not even smart to be in the mafia anymore.
@@BigBadassR Being in the mafia you have to sell drugs, selling drugs means long ass prison sentences are waiting for you.

It's Hilarious these guys wouldn't have a job if the mob went away. 😂😂

The smart guys hide their money somewhere, knowing they will probably do a stretch at some point.
Snitch
