Hey.. I have a doubt.. Here in the inter state water dispute it is given that SC don't have right to enquire or settle the disputes between the state in the matter of water dispute... And same as given in the article 131 of SC.. But in the mullaperiyar dam issue we see the SC gave it's judgement.. How??

It doesn't matter what I think here but, rather than making tribunal we can make body of Scientists and environmentalists that can provide concerning data to Judiciary i.e. Supreme Court in solving such cases. With parliamentary involvement, decisions can be politically motivated. Topic can used for ANSWER WRITING OR ESSAY WRITING PRACTICE.

sir, if the SC can deal with only legal disputes whereas tribunal can deal with legal as well as non legal. Then if a situation come where the states involved in the interstates water disputes does not comply with the advices made by interstate council then can SC interfere ? or parliament will deal with issue ?
