Vic is truly one of a kind. When I lost my mom I had emailed Vic because I had met him at a con, he saw I had trouble walking and said that if I ever needed to talk to email him. He immediately emailed back, remembered me from a con from 4 years ago because he asked if my health had improved and if I was able to walk any better. He then said he would pray for my family. Nobody else I have ever met at a con would do that. He truly cares for his fans.
This legitimately brought a fucking tear to my eye. We don't deserve this gentle and loving man, almost as much as he didn't deserve what transpired two years ago.

I want to scream and cry. I met Vic Mignogna on Sunday and I wish I would have given him a hug. I've taken a break from the anime world for almost 8 years. I was so surprised to see him in person, I was shocked. He is one of my childhood heros. I was freaking out but was trying not to show it. He was an absolutely gentleman to me. Super sweet and he was so patient to me when I was telling him about my love for Star Trek and my grandmother. (She get me into Star Trek when I was very young and she past away a couple years back) I didn't get to tell him half of what I would have liked. I wish I could have told him how much he meant to me. I hope I get a chance to tell him in the future and give him a hug, if he will let me. I had no idea what he has been going through over the years until now. It breaks my soul to see what is happening to him.
Vic is an Amazing man. He also saved my life with an email he sent to me. Because at we were the time and still are dealing with people who faked caring about my family our entire life and took away the farm we were living at and i was going to commit suicide but Vic said he’s praying for my family and it gave me the courage to not and fight back

I was about to say the same thing. As much as it sucks from him to lose his job at Funimation, I think it’s best for him and his mental health to get out of an environment where he’s not accepted. It’s not worth working somewhere when no one likes you, no matter how good the money checks are.

The more videos I see about Vic the more I questions those allegations. Vic seems like a real genuine and sweet guy. I use to be on the kick Vic side but videos like this have made me abandon it. I still am friendly with Jamie and Monica, but personally I think they just misunderstood him or misinterpreted things he said or did, I seriously doubt Vic has ever had malicious intentions at all and vids like this prove it.
I use to be part with the IstandwithVic crowd who use to slander Monica Rial and others but after meeting Monica Rial at the OG Collectibles Meet and Greet 2024, I was wrong to believe everything with that side believed in her. Monica is one the nicest ppl I ever met and she’s genuinely caring to her fans just like Vic. These days I’m neutral to the whole situation between her and Vic. Maybe Vic got a lil too clingy a bit without maliciously doing it and being unaware making others feel uncomfortable by randomly hugging them and showing them too much affection. But I do appreciate the fact he takes accountability of some of the mistakes he did and being a lil too clingy showing a lil too much affection. Now let’s compare him to real monsters like pos R Kelly and Karl Malone for example who refuse to admit their mistakes and blame everyone else.
I cry all the time looking back at in my head and everything that’s been going on my life. I needed this cause I just felt like everything hadn’t been going good for me, Vic helped me get through this with everything going on between my mom being sick and my dad in jail and the separation. It’s just been hard on me.

I know that this is an old thread, but if possible, I encourage you to find help from your community to help your parents so you can take a break. There are many state and local resources allocated for such purposes. Please find someone who can lighten the load.
