    The key is how hard you ride on how much you'll get out of it. Normal street riding on an Nc700 you should get 20,000 out of the sprockets easy. Get a good chain and you should get about the same if you're lucky. I should have changed mine last year at 25,000 with the chain and other items but I was being cheap and they looked ok. It was probably the wheelies I was doing but I ended up killing the chain and rear sprocket pretty bad and now I have to replace it all. I went with a c clip because my zx6 did ok with them and this bike is way under the power of the z X6. As long as I stay away from wheelies I'll be ok I believe. It it's a powerful bike or you just want to be safe get the rivet type and stay away from wheelies.
