Yup, exactly. Tho, she played in a few drama which hadn’t high ratings, but Her acting skill was really so great. She worked hard and pro (herself acted these dangerous scenes or make herself worse which didn’t a stuntman).
She was already effective as an antagonist in All About Eve (that drama was also famous in my country Philippines and it also had a Filipino remake)
She's the best whether comedy (from another station) to the blood boiling Penthouse Kdrama....she's the best!
Kim So Yeon acted many other roles: romantic comedy, action, villain, historical,….during 28 years her career.
And any roles, she did so great, too.

The way she portrayed her character, conveying different emotions in just one scene is PURE TALENT! Just like when seo jin’s father died. That scene was ICONIC! Her character was so scared, angry, confused, and revengeful in that scene alone. But observe how she handled it. The shifting of emotions and facial expressions. Congratulations, Kim So-Yeon!!!!!! You’re the QUEEN!
I noticed that, too. Haven't seen it on any other artist. Galit tawa(saya), iyak(lungkot). She reminds me of Miss Min Chin in Sarah Ang Munting Prinsesa.
