NARS already has foundation geared towards dry skin aka sheer glow so I'm glad they have this new foundation for combo/oily skin. Looking forward to trying it!

Great review. I'm a foundation virgin so I've gone for the Nars Sheer Glow. For years I've always struggled with finding a match as I'm ideally a Mac NC43... if that existed. So I was ecstatic to find that Sheer Glow is now available in FORTY shades 🥳

Would it cover ice pick scars as well as the sheer glow? I find sheer glow is a godsend for my scars, gives really good coverage without clinging to them and highlighting them. I'm a sheer glow Barcelona but would love to try something new

can you do a review on the new maybelline super stay foundation?
I’ve been scouring the internet looking for a shade twin for me because I’m really struggling to find the right one and I’m hoping you are it. I haven’t tried Radiant but I’ve tried the Light Reflecting and think I need to try the darker shades than what I got. They are too warm for me tho - I agree that I wish Valencia was a bit more neutral. I’m leaning towards aruba but idk. Need to try but I don’t live close to Sephora

Also in my opinion I would say mac NC42 is still very slightly deeper than these new Valencia / Aruba shades.

I’m an NC42 and was previously matched to Syracuse which was a little dark with a flat brown undertone that lacked warmth. Having to mix Tahoe with Stromboli was annoying and expensive-/:)
Tested Valencia out and it’s a much better match.
I’m very warm rather than neutral so I like that it has a yellow undertone. For me Valencia could be even warmer, but it’s still a much better match than Syracuse. So that’s the shade I’ll be buying when I run out of my Fenty.

NARS states to start off with a small amount as it can cake up .. and to warm it up .. I don't see how this is radiant I have it on and don't see Radiance , but it's also not super matte ( I have normal to dry skin )

the Sheer Glow is specifically for dry skin because the formula is so heavy. the Radiant Longwear is better for oily skin as per NARS website. the All Day Luminous Weightless is too watery and you're exactly right that the Radiant Longwear is like a mix of both All Day Luminous and Sheer Glow. Question for you: would VALENCIA or ARBUA be a better match for my NC40 skintone? i currently use Barcelona and it's a tad too yellow i think, but do you think valencia or aruba would be a closer match? i am almost exactly an NC40.
I think Valencia might be a tad dark for you to be honest! x

Your review is so honest, pointing at every essential point that I had to like it. Keep these kind of honest reviews going on, I just hate when people use the diplomatic version hide stuff like how you were shiny during the day and somehow misguide us into buying a product which we get so disappointed later on. Like that company is making million of profits and some people just prefer causing a hole in our small pockets. Now I know exactly what to expect from the foundation. Just one thing, you should show us the application process and just talk thru it in the background whatever.

Got this foundation & shade matched to Aruba. as I'm neutral-warm undertone. So so happy..superimpressed. Didn't have Nars in my collection before as always thought I fell in between shades & I was right as Aruba a new shade. Feels much nicer on my skin than my Huda beauty & lasted all day for me too.
The new Bobbi brown one really good too should try that. Think this one looks gorgeous on you!
