My grandparents born & raised in Salem, my parents born & raised there as well. I spent many happy years visiting grandmothers and relatives in and around Salem. Happy to see it springing back to life! 💖
South Lincoln is probably the best street in town; glad to see the renovations done currently; been back for a little over a year and it's so different than when I grew up in 1960-1980. Been back in 1992, 1996, and 2020.
Salem is where you can ride from to Youngstown but dang its some hilly terrain getting close. Its almost easier to ride to New Castle but Salem is alright. I like the Rockateria is cool but so is teh Confluence so I'd like to see Salem vs. New Castle for places outside the mahoning valley
I was born and raised here for 13 years almost 14 ....the kids now are different there rude and fake and I bet back then it was sm better....I hate it here now but its fun to hangout with (my good friends) in salem ohio

"It's amazing because you see so much history here" (?) It's EVerywhere, if we look. What's different about Salem history is ...witch trials and firey ends. Oh, HELL.

I lived in Salem for 9 years until Eljer shut down and i moved back home to WV. But Salem Ohio will always be my 2nd home. I love the place.
I grew up playing rock music in Salem...with Larry Davis, we formed our bands through the 60s and into the 70s...We were proud Salem musicians...
The best produced of these I've seen yet. Good job Woodshop Media!
This my town I graduated in 1961 and shopped, played, and enjoyed living and learning meeting so many friends.
Born and raised in Salem Ohio. My parents were Robert and Faye Pitts. Both deceased. I now live in Calif.
Yes, Salem is a Gem with a bright future. Its exciting to see its lovely downtown area undergoing a renaissance. Happy to be here : D

Love, love, love Salem. I was born there and trying to move back. If anyone is hiring a seasoned carpenter or cabinet builder, please let me know.
I moved back after living in Louisiana, California, Kansas, and Florida.
