I would suggest “My Level” by Auth. It’ll help you get used to the synco mechanic. You also might want to play some of MarioMak’s levels, they’re crazy good. (awesome vid as always btw)
Woops... I might've overestimated how good you can handle these levels. Custom levels are a lot harder than the story levels. You did pretty good on Pixel Plantation though! (Its basically oneshots but visualized differently) I don't remember what levels I suggested and Idk what to recommend starting off with. Maybe just jump right in? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Edit: few things to note right now: -Right now, you will struggle on Enchanted Love, Roller Mobster, Disperagoia, Reverence, and (ok a lot of 'em are hard, you can do it!) -The levels "Why Don't You Play Them" and "Shade" have a bit of swearing -That ice dragon guy in the freezeshot tutorial is a boss from the RDL discord event RDRPG. Same goes for the girl Expi.
Oh btw the syncopation tutorial is a bit outdated and made by someone who isn't a great English speaker. A beep will play on every beat, the two syncopated beats will have higher pitched beeps. Syncopation bars are also 6.5 beats long like how a regular bar is 7 beats long. This is my best way of explaining it..

I would suggest "Hot Chocolate" , "Say it Back" and "Distant Duet EX" because they are all bops and not to hard if you know the patterns. They are all on the Steam workshop.

Ngl, I was very expecting you to um...you know play the easier ones so that you get a feel for what the custom levels would be like. Nope. You straight up jumped into the pit of fire, not looking back. I'm proud of you. Anyways, go for the much easier levels for practice and if you think it's too easy for you, you can find levels based on harder difficulties. Should test the levels beforehand too just too make sure you don't have to speed up audio(dude your voice in a higher pitch is just weird)
Yea I wasn’t really sure what levels to do exactly so I was just doing some that someone suggested for me. And I actually can’t check for copyright issues until I upload the level. So get ready for more speed up kingbling in the future :p
@@KingBling1 You could always check the original song on YT and see if the song maker says "Free to use" or not. Not really sure how UA-cam's copyright infringement works or what they count as "You're doing this copyrighting thing and it's bad." and what counts as "Oh you didn't know that was copyrighted? We can resolve this issue in a bit."
As a general rule, songs that are originally from games or are released freely are fine, but any songs from popular shows or artists will get claimed. Both of those things are pretty easy to check :)
@@KingBling1 AAAAA I FORGOT. There's a thing called Intruder Beats. They're simple though. They're basically beats that you have to click on. For example 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 ___________________-__________ There are 6 beats before the 7th beat. These intruder beats appear somewhere between the 3rd - 6th beat. When it reaches the intruder beat(which looks like a suspicious looking yellow arrow) you have to press on that beat.
I do have a couple of levels myself that you can try yourself, although it’s mostly tutorials at the moment... watch out for my actual levels, they are pretty hard... Well, I mainly don’t have many actual levels because I am having a major Writer’s Block, like Art Block but with music making...

Hey, I know I'm late to the party, but there's a "Streamer Setlist" with recommended levels in difficulty order from easy to hard. There's plenty of easier levels, you just happen to have chosen some of the most popular difficult levels :P Look out for the "Easy and "Medium" difficulty tags, those will be a lot tamer. There's also a "Daily Blend" channel in the Rhythm Doctor Discord server (discord.gg/rhythmdr), which provides one medium difficulty level to play every day. One last thing, I'd recommend checking out the "3peat tutorial" (that's the purple lines in momotaro) and "metronomic tachycardia tutorial" (that's the swinging line in pixel plantation). Those make it a lot easier to grasp. That being said, good luck, and I greatly look forward to seeing more custom level videos!
