A vacuum brake booster is safe, cheap insurance and makes a big difference stopping. I have a 63' Galaxie XL and wouldn't drive it with just manual brakes. A C4AZ booster should work with that with the proper mounting bracket and firewall pushrod.
Pretty sure this Ford could be ordered with a 6 cylinder, perhaps 250ci. The 289, 352 yes 2, 390, 428 and maybe a 427. 3 on the three and 4spd on floor. The 289 version back in 1963 was also made as a 221 or 260 sold in smaller fords like the Fairlane or usa Mercury meteor.
All 289 are Challengers. The Windsor is a “family” of small engines and distinguishes it from the big Clevelands. Ford never used Windsor for the 260/289.
there was a guy who had fallen in love with a brave and adventurous woman. He knew that she was a huge fan of zombie movies and survival games, so he decided to plan a unique date for her. He arranged a zombie-themed adventure in an abandoned warehouse, where they had to fight their way through hordes of zombies to survive. Despite being scared, the woman was impressed by the guy's bravery and quick thinking. They fought side by side, adrenaline pumping through their veins, until they emerged victorious. After the adrenaline had worn off, the guy took the woman to a rooftop where they could enjoy the stars together. He took her hand and told her that he was willing to fight any obstacle, even a zombie apocalypse, to be with her. Overwhelmed by his sincerity and courage, the woman kissed him under the starry sky, and they both knew that they had found the love of their lives.
That "gas monkey" oxidated look will never grow on me, will prefer it in a nice color like white or the light blue of the interior... Love the wheels and the stance tho fits it so well
It's a 289 Ford HI PO V8, the same in the 66 GT350 made 306 HP (which is basically the same power you get in a new V6 Mustang). The 289 is also a Windsor V8 since it's made in Windsor Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 like the 302 and 351 Windsors.
Big man, been listening to your older style podcast videos from years ago. Fuckin' awesome mate. Be cool if you could do some new ones. Could listen to you talk cars all day. Love the channel BTW.
66 C Sedan is about 1:25:00 in on the 1991 movie 'one false move ' with Billy Bob Thornton for at least a minute.

An absolute classic! I love everything about this! The retro vibes are strong with this one! Congrats man! 😊👍
Thanks dude 🤘🤘

Man thats one beautiful 66 Ford Galaxie Country Sedan Wagon brother.
That Patina looks perfect.
Cheers dude 🤙 yeah I love the paint. It’s linseed oil coated too to protect it
@HSG Automotive Right, got any plans for the 66 Galaxie Wagon.
@@CJColvin For now the side pipe bypasses so that I can switch between quiet and hot rod 😂👌
@@HSGAutomotive Awesome brother, a 5.0L Coyote V8 swap or even a 7.3L Godzilla V8 swap would be perfect for this wagon.

That would be a headturner here in the US, I can only imagine how it stands out in the UK.
Old wagons are just perfect aesthetically.
Yeah it definitely does 😂👌

Haha cheers dude, been thinking of doing some more long form vids like that so we’ll see 👍
I would put disc brakes on it as adjusting brake shoes so they are in sync with each other are a pain in the ass I have found on these older cars
Yeah discs are definitely one of the things I have in mind
Awesome car! If you don't mind me asking where did you find it?
Private owner 👌
