Thank you so much for WATCHing my video and I hope that you check out all my other content.
I release 3 videos per week, all watch related, including reviews, first impressions and general watch related topics.
I try very hard to diversify my content. Featuring known watch brands, microbrands, Aliexpress. Some I have purchased new, others second hand.
The majority of the watches that I feature I have purchased. I buy them to enjoy, wear, have in my collection. I then also feature them on this channel.
Being a smaller channel it is challenging to cover the cost of all the watches that I buy and partly because of this I have become an affiliate member with a number of companies including Aliexpress and Ashford.com.
If you are looking for watches from well known brands then it is worth checking out:
www.ashford.com
If you are looking for great strap options then definitely check out:
vario.sg/
and
artemstraps.co...
As an affiliate member I may leave affiliate links in the descriptions of videos. These links will direct you to the watches that I’ve experienced, reviewed and would certainly recommend. If you choose to use those links I will earn a very small commission.
Thank you very much if you choose to use those links.
Below are affiliate links for my absolute favourite watches on Aliexpress. Each of them I have owned and had positive experiences with the stores that they are linked to.

I honestly think that a really good strap/bracelet is as important as a nice watch and if they're coupled correctly then you've got a real "WINNER "
Absolutely. It really elevates a watch and how it feels.
One of the reasons I love that IWC I featured.
The omega was produced in small quantities and is 4x pricier. Of course Patek makes one which is 4x the omega
Thanks for WATCHing
Thank you James! Great vid…cheers from Texas, US.
Thank you James! Great vid... Cheers from Poland, Europe.
It’s great to have such a global community.
Wow Poland. Not sure I’ve had a comment identifying Poland as their location before.
I’ve recently been researching my next Europe holiday and Poland is on the list.
I’ve been to most of the west. Now want to see some of the east.
@@WATCHingJames Poland, Czech, Slovakia, Croatia, Albania are the safest countries of former Soviet Union block. We have plenty to offer!
Very nice selection James. I enjoyed the variety across price points and styles. Thank you.
Thanks for WATCHing
Very nice selection of watches, and great points on each. I’m a sucker for dive watches, so the Tudor and Glycine are my favorites…one that’s attainable now, and one to work towards!!! Cheers James, and thanks for sharing 👍👍
Thanks Michael. I’m a big diver fan too but have been branching off into other styles in the past few years.
Very nice selection of watches! I’ve got a BB58 blue & it’s the cornerstone of my collection. I have the Tudor bracelet, but it fits my wrist a lot better on the Forstner “O” that I have it on.
I thought that maybe it was an over hyped watch before I bought it. But no. Not at all. I absolutely love it.
@@WATCHingJames I don’t know what kind of time yours keeps, but mine is basically dead-on. Like +/- less than .5 sec/day! I set it 3 months ago & it’s currently 11 seconds slow when compared with my radio signal-hacked G-Shock. It’s amazing!
The benefit of a great movement
Cheers James, some absolutely beautiful watches, some on my list too, thanks for a great video mate.
Thank you. I’m hoping to add the GS to my collection next year. But that is a bit of a financial step up for me.
Thanks for the great list. It’s going to take me some time, but a CW is definitely on my radar. That IWC is brilliant also. Thanks again!
You can’t go wrong with CW. All of the ones I’ve owned or experienced have been incredible.
Well curated list, Mate. Cheers!
Thank you. They are watches that have really stood out to me and I also wanted it to be a list of watches that I have experience with.
Combat Sub 39 in blue scratches the itch for the black bay.
I want to get my hands on one of those. Just hard finding one at the right price.
Nice variety of styles, it just goes to show there is something for everyone.
There seems to be an almost endless amount of variety recently. Which is great but also makes it hard to keep a grip of collection size 😁
@@WATCHingJames Absolutely, there is temptation every where 😁
That IWC is beautiful think I found my next watch! You have nice collection sir 🍻
Thank you. It is one of my favourites in my collection and probably my most worn watch.
Great picks, still waiting for a review of the Mark XVI (unless I've somehow missed it)!
Coming soon.
Great, Thank you for sharing this 👍
Thank you. They really are watches that have stood out to me and I also wanted it to contain watches that I have actual experience with.
Really good list. I like all your choices, but the IWC & the Glycine are standouts for me. Look forward to more reviews.
Thank you. They stand for me too. The IWC has turned into my most worn watch and the Glycine has to be the best watch you can buy at that price.
Great video, as always.
Thank you
Thanks mate❤
Thanks for WATCHing. I really love these watches. Fingers crossed I might be able to add that GS to my collection next year.
Great insights! Check out the Longines Sector watch. Love the white dial version .
I really like that one too. There is also an Omega that has a similar look that is very nice.
James, you're a hoot! That's a good thing. Very enjoyable video. Omega's always wear well for me.
Hahahahaha. Thank you.
Thanks James. Interesting as always. Have an ease move. And btw - 10k is almost there🎉!
Thank you. It’s going to be a busy week. Thankfully I’m a bit ahead with my videos so should not interrupt my upload schedule.
I’m can see hitting 10K in about 2 weeks. Woohoo.
Great list James, I love the Mont Blanc, think it is very underrated
When I bought it I knew that I really liked it. But it has surprised me just how much I like it and how often I am wearing it.
Nice colection.💯👍
Thank you
Great video!
Thank you. It was a fun video to put together.
Great list not the usual suspects.
Thank you. I wanted to show the ones that have stood out to me and ones that I have actual experience with.
The Glycine is a nice watch indeed, but I could not stand out its weight on my wrist. This boy is so heavy. 🥴 I wish they made it of titanium.
It is a solid watch. It would be very interesting and I’m sure popular if they released a titanium version.
Green with envy here James.
My wallet however is not as jealous 😳
WATCHing you at 9.9k subs, James!
So close now. 10K here we come
Pretty cool watch that Houtman! I recently saw a Mont Blanc and I can attest to what you are saying. Its pretty good!
They are incredible watches. I’ve been surprised recently how much I am wearing the Montblanc. I knew I loved it. But was a little unsure how much wrist time it would get.
@@WATCHingJames Agreed. Yours is stunning James!
👍
👍
I'm currently looking for a decent sub £600 watch and would go for that Glycine but I can't find one anywhere in the UK.☹️
The best place I found to get them is Ashford.com. However I think it’s an American site so would need to be imported. I know your taxes then come into play when you need to import it.
Otherwise I would be keeping an eye on eBay and look for a good used version.
@@WATCHingJames Also looking at the Orient Star Diver which you reviewed a while back.
That one is also very very nice.
A good one to try and handle first.
The bracelet is not as good as the glycine. But still a very nice watch.
@@WATCHingJames I ordered one from TUS watches who have featured on Bens Watch Club and Relative Time. Unfortunately the bezel had a slight misalignment which was disappointing but the company are great to deal with and have sent out another that they QC'd before dispatch. Strange as I've never had an issue with Orient before. Hoping the replacement will be better.🤞
Oh yeah, the turbine 😀
It will generally make these sorts of lists. Because I really love it.
The link to the turbine pilot is empty.
Thanks for letting me know. I’ll update it.

If I can borrow your Tudor for a week, maybe I can find a wife.
Hahahahaha. I’m sure it would have them flocking to you.
It's all subjective of course, but somę of these are truly horrible. You keep repeating "it's not a novelty!" - but some of them are, and not much more. Anyway - you still keep digging interesting ones, so there's a method to this madness ;)
Thanks for WATCHing
